@Nikki-HALSALL It seems like you are perfectly set up for this!
@Fraser-cord crazy collapse hitting the ball in the air needing 7 per with a lot of overs to go
Well. I. Never.
2-0, red home, 3-0
11 mins to go
Ends 3-3 with a disallowed away goal to boot.
Love this league!
@Mark-Maguire I do not think you ramble at all, really well executed replies to be honest.
Love it.
That’s a great way of looking at it, I really like the idea of adding extra to the winners too and maximising what you are already doing.
You have already done the work in finding the trade you might as well maximise the return from the work you are already doing.
@Nikki-HALSALL It seems like you are perfectly set up for this!
If anybody is a fan of old school horror movies I can highly recommend Terrifier and Terrifier 2. Both are currently on Amazon Prime.
Real tip of the hat to old school horror with these. The first film was made, I think, with around 50k which is total peanuts in the film world. It shows but is still an excellent film. They had more money for the 2nd film (about 250k I think) still peanuts but was really good.
The guy playing the Art the Clown was superb.
@John-Folan yeah noticed this has been flying recently, well done!
Month 24 of trading.
November was a break even month for me. After 2 years of learning and trading I have decided to take a step back from some of my strategies and just collect the data to get a better idea of performance before trading them.
In the last 2 years I have learnt and figured out a lot. Had I had this information at the start of the process I think I would be much further ahead - but that us part of the process. So, what I have I learnt about myself and trading after 2 years of giving it a go?....
The type of trader I want to be..... I want to be a predominantly Set and Forget trader. I don't want to be sitting in front of my comp on weekends. This means I need to find enough good quality selections that I can make some decent money off that fit the way I want to trade. I have begun this process and will hopefully be able to share the fruits of my labour soon.
Quality over quantity..... for the last 2 years I have chased anything that seemed to make money - even if it was 2% ROI and having to place 50+ bets on a Sat morn. I value my time a lot higher having reflected on this. Therefore I want strategies that have an over 5% ROI as a bare minimum with a decent number of selections each month.
Data collection is key... I have found myself getting frustrated at strategies that seem to work when paper trading then as soon as you go live they fail. I had a rule about going live after 3 months of collection. This I think is too ambitious and can lead to false expectations. I plan to now collect a few hundred results before even using small stakes. This will save time trading and ensure that when the time is right I will have more confidence in my strats.
Give myself credit.... it can be very easy to look at my overall losses and think "wow, what a waste" - but I need to take the long view and understand that like setting up a new business the chances are you are going loose money on your first year or two. Compared to a uni degree or college course I have spent a fraction. And I know the long term gains will pay for that with ease.
Overall I am happy with where I am - I'm still in the fight and have some very exciting strategies that will work better for how I want to trade. After two years of finding my feet I'm ready for the big leagues - let's do it!
Hi Everyone,
Attached are my current results EPL got to doubling my bank but faded a bit late I will look to increase my stakes to $10 (2%) with a winning week this weekend. Portugal is starting to bounce back after a couple of tough weeks.Trading P+L.xlsx
November saw 20 wins from 30 games for a 67% SR and a scratch month.
It could have been worse. Ive removed ALL international matches from my results though. My new running total is 18 points in the green from 434 games. Theres a definite sweet spot in the odds forming but Ill keep trading changing nothing for a while. The stand out Leagues are Top 14 and Super rugby. Premiership and URC are sadly treading water! Premiership could even be drowning....back away team anyone? 😁
This conclusion is based on my experience and testing.
You might get results other than mine and are free to speak up.
First out ...
SHG "any score line" at 1.4 between 60/64 min mark.
Run several weekends with Fairbot and it did not perform as expected.
Update with the next test ...
Richards SHG at 1.2 Set & Forget
Cheers
@Richard-Latimer HI Richard, hope you are well mate?
No i hadn't been recording leagues, but a very good point to add my data analysis as like you say i can the eliminate leagues that aren't performing
End of Nov update
Lay u1.5 goals - now 33pts up for the year so down a couple this month
LTD 1st half only - now 44pts up for the year so up 1 pt this month
BTTS - now 39 pts up so down a couple in Nov
Lay Away - now at 42 pts up so a huge 16pts up this month and means overall i end the month with a small profit
I also have a Serie A over 2.5 goals set and forget that i have been paper trading since start of season and that is 11pts up currently... hopefully be able to go live with this in Jan if it keeps going strong.
@Patrik-Mellqvist nice one how is it going?
@Mark-Hewett always going to be a bit of deviation due to the nature of odds moving so quickly, what time do you enter?
That is great input and information.
See the free option works very well.
Cheers
Has anyone been having random selections ending up in the Tips Form?? I've had 4 today across 3 different strategies and no idea where they care been imported from.
@Ryan said in Food/Diet and training hobbies:
@Akiva-Anderson I have thought about Lion's Mane before, Adam told me he used it and it worked.
Will have to get some, where you get yours? Seems to be so many out there tough to know whats a good one or not.
I get most of my stuff of that sort from mindnutrition.com or lifeessentials.co.uk.
@Mark-Hewett Welcome!
Thank you for the great welcome post, we've put a lot of time into building this up over the years so great to see somebody appreciate it.
Happy to help where I can as well.
@Martin said in Question about horse section!:
@Patrik-Mellqvist the horse racing has backtesting yes if that's what you are asking
Thanks.
Exactly.
Can I test for one month to validate and explore?
Can I use a month subscription?
If I get what I am looking for after the testing period.
Then can I get the same 3-year deal as with a soccer subscription?
Cheers Patrik
@Jonathan-McDaid love it cheers!
