@GREGORIOS-KARASHIALIS @GREGORIOS-KARASHIALIS You'll need to ask one of the mods, Gregorios. I'm just a member. Try @Adam
@Taff-Phillips amazing work thanks!
You can send and receive private messages on the forum.
There are a couple of ways to initiate a chat with someone. You can click their name on a thread (either the poster's name or someone's tag which starts with "@"):
4f7b5a0a-a2d4-4ba2-a236-e5945fb072e2-image.png
This will take you to their profile, where you can click "Chat":
59f272df-d470-4836-953d-7edc393e5711-image.png
You can also click the "Chats" button in the right sidebar, which will show you your last few chat messages and give you a button to browse to your full chat inbox:
7df3c3e0-157a-4249-a7f8-c7b2c5f27540-image.png
From your inbox, you can either add to an existing chat or search a user and start a chat from there:

Do you wish the forum looked different? Maybe you prefer a dark look?
Well, if you click the "Skins" button in the left sidebar, you can choose your own skin:

Try it out!
If you want to get some quick opinions from others on a topic, you can add a poll to your thread.
Click the poll button in the topic tools:
999b4b42-26a1-4c95-b2f1-664c52a5a169-image.png
Then simply give your poll a title and add your options (click the "add option" button each time you want to add another one):
15e1080e-6fd8-4873-bb31-eda554a3cf9a-image.png
There are some additional options to let you control the poll further, e.g. most of the time it makes sense to only allow people 1 vote, etc.
Once you click "Confirm" and submit your post, you'll see the poll in your thread and will be able to answer it yourself:

You can also view the results as they come in:

The search on the forum is pretty powerful.
Firstly whenever you post a new thread, we'll search the forum for similar threads in case you just want to add to those instead:
556e42cc-dc48-441e-b4a0-e72fcb491a98-image.png
There's also a global search, which can be found in the top right:
f6b804d9-21a3-4307-89a2-19db8d4cf948-image.png
You can quickly type anything and it will show posts matching your results:

To do some more advanced searching, click the "see more results" button:

Which will let you refine your search based on some additional filters:

You might want to save the forum to your phone, for convenience and easy access later.
This will depend on which browser you use on your phone, but broadly speaking if you visit the BTC forum page and then click the browser options button, you should be able to find an option named something like "Add to home screen":

This will save a shortcut to the forum on your phone and it runs as its own little web app (so you won't lose it amongst the other 9475676 browser tabs you have open on your phone already 😉

If you want to give someone credit for something they've said, or give them a firm thumbs down for it, you can upvote or downvote posts.
Just click the up arrow to upvote, at which point the number between the two arrows will increment:
0d1292f4-f8ee-4f0b-8d29-7ed353ae2375-image.png
Likewise, click the down arrow to downvote, which will decrease the number:

If you upvoted or downvoted by mistake, don't click the opposite button, just click the same button again. If you upvoted by accident and you click the upvote button again, it removes your upvote. If you click the downvote button instead, it turns your upvote into a downvote! (awkward.... 😒 )

Note that we have a number of megathreads for the most common topics, e.g. a horse racing thread, a software support thread, etc. Generally, you'll spend most of your time replying to the chat on those threads, but you may occasionally need to create your own thread.
To do that, click the "New Topic "button in the relevant section:
39c3189a-8040-41bb-8ea0-1603e0c687b4-image.png
You might want to first ensure the preview pane is enabled by clicking the "Show preview" button.
cc48e1c9-519e-4442-8bd3-2cc1207f938c-image.png
This lets you see exactly how your post will look when it's submitted:
73f0f4e1-f13d-4cd2-832c-b946e666aab9-image.png
When you give your thread a title, we'll search for threads with similar content and show you them, in case you just want to reply on those threads instead:
bd105fcd-f78d-48ea-8cb9-b7210c6461e1-image.png
You can also give your thread some tags, to help people quickly see what it's about and find it easier, depending on their interests:
882f4722-cda1-4c1a-aa4e-fd022f873173-image.png
Beyond that, it's a simple case of typing away and sharing your post with the world! There are a number of tools and formatting options available to help with this and if you get stuck, click the "Help" button to see some of the formatting shortcuts you can use:

There are a couple of ways of replying to posts.
First, there's a general "reply" button which lets you add to a thread without replying to anyone in particular or quoting anyone. It basically just starts a brand new post within the current thread:
6311b7e8-4925-4090-9147-692cad654884-image.png
You can also reply to someone directly using the reply button on their post, which tags them in your post and also allows your reply (and potentially others) to be nested under that person's original reply to make following the conversation easier:
a8dc2537-3f62-43ee-b3e7-08c74aa2f0d8-image.png
You can also quote someone, which automatically starts a new reply post but also includes their original statement too:
d0409fbd-716b-4bdb-8bac-63ec1138064b-image.png
If you only want to quote part of what someone said, you can select only that text in their post, at which point a "Quote" button will appear. Clicking that button will create a new reply with that partial quote!
ffc2c148-1396-4b1a-a206-9eb6805b3d5b-image.png
When replying, you might want to make sure the preview pane is enabled:

This lets you see exactly how your reply will look to other people once you've posted it:
