@Chris-King It was your original post about the inplay stats at HT that I found interesting but at the moment I only use filters to find selections and I trade those regardless assuming that I am at the computer to actually trade.

There are more games where a goal comes too early than those where at least 1 lay is matched. I try to not let that bother me too much as they do show the selection was ok just that it wasn't at a suitable price.

I did run a 100+ games on the odds simulator (it just supplies random games) and 80 minutes does seem to be a good spot to place a saver. The average price at 80 mins was 1.69. With those random games a lay of 0.5 goals at 80mins gave a 10% ROI.

Anyhow the international break has given me time to do deeper dives into my spreadsheets and the more selective filter does seem far more profitable over fewer selections.

The staking for 1.5 goals has a liability of £2.60 for a full loss.
Using the 80 mins 0.5 goals saver will increase that to £3.29 for a full loss.

@mark-pennicott could you put some percentages on these outcomes that you want adding? will be easier to make a filter for your requirements. Thanks

@David-Mason unlucky David .. it happens, but what I can say is that being on this site is the best thing you could possibly do- if you are disciplined enough to watch the videos which you obviously are.. and learn some structures and systems - really important to also after going through all the learning materials - develop you own approach.. ask yourself what you want to trade and why .. and then test and test again ... you'll get it wrong a few times to start with - we all did.. but the generosity of the experts on here and the way the principles are protected by Ryan, Martin and Adam along with the wealth of information means it is ridiculously good value ..

The basic rules - try a new strategy - lose, up stakes - lose, post a new strategy on here - lose... its sods law .. but it'll be worth it .. all the very best with your journey

I use Bitwarden which you can have as an app on your phone or an extension to your browser. It's really good because it saves all your log in, creates passwords, keeps 2FA, etc.

I'm sure there are loads that do something similar. It's a pain to go through all your passwords and make them more secure, but considering the potential downside it's worth doing.

@Toni-0 Yes the more i think back i had the same issue. I think in my trading naivety i wasn’t tracking correctly by entering the back/lay on trading out/cash out, then realised there was no other way around it. It’s possible to accurately track your bank, just not ideal and I found it annoying, but is technically what you’re actually doing when trading out(back/lay etc), it’s just that it’s not logged within the same ‘trade’ if i remember. Maybe that is why they haven’t added the feature? Would be great if they did add it.
Initially it was a god send for me though as showed me the importance of tracking (no matter your skill level) and it was easy to do all on my phone or iPad.
Then i joined BTC and In the end I wanted complete tracking customisation so ended up teaching myself how to create a spreadsheet in a haphazard way learning/poaching formulas and this and that as time’s gone on and for me with the online tools that are part of the super trader package has taught me how all that side of trading works.

    @JON-RIDING
You need two elements to the automation rule

To check the current score To lay the current score if the fixed odds condition is <= to the price you want to lay at.

You can get examples from the shared automation files on the forum in Bet Angel

@Jonathan-West I just uploaded the filter and have been taking my selections from that. There are far too many to trade all. Then i’ve just stuck to the rules and timings (aiming to be in at 11.30-11:50 on the clock then set a 5 minute timer, and out when time is up). I haven’t always stuck to the odds though but my average odds is within the parameters.

@David-Milligan said in How do you Trade Second Half Goal? Entry, Staking, Exit?:

@Chris-King I would love to find the @Akiva-Anderson secret sauce. I find it's a really enjoyable way to trade but I'm not sure how to find a reproducible way of choosing games!

I'm not even sure what I'm doing!!

@Terence If you are making solid progress your 1% stake will increase naturally, there is no need to up the percentage and put pressure on your bank because variance is going your way. Stick to 1% and you shouldn't put your bank at risk as long as your trading is solid.

@Maximiliano-Garnero Everything you need is already in here matey, in the football thread.

If you post what you were doing daily on there you'd see people commenting etc...

@Maximiliano-Garnero The rule changes regarding stoppage time means there are now, 8,9 10 even 15 mins of added on time. So the number of super late goals will increase. Markets are catching up to that fact so there is probably some profit to be made in laying current score/the current unders market, but you'd need to research it, come up with a hypothesis, filters/criteria and then test it, by which time the endge may have gone if the markets do adjust for the extra added time.

You might simply decide that, if you have a green trade on the LTD strategy then you could use x% of your 'green' as the lay liability for another goal and just see how you go for a month...might be interesting!
