@jenski Love this thank you, mind if I unpack them a little bit....

How can I make that better here? What can I create to help people with that element?

I love the other points. Having a plan and confidence in that is key, many people don't really know what they are doing but trick themselves that they do.

I have spotted the ones from here already created for bfbot so copied those over into mine to see how they go šŸ™‚

Been working on an over 0.5 goals lay system where I lay at odds of 6.0.

Trying a few different versions so one just running all matches, one where inplay stats trigger like x amount of dangerous attacks, or SOTs etc.

So have several of the same bot with tiny variances to see what is best so over time I can see the best settings overall.

So far footie bots working well for me.

Aussie greyhounds is tricky as commission is a killer as can be around 8% at certain tracks so hard to find a setting that works well but have a few track and distance specific where certain traps tend to lose more. Guess as tight corners at certain tracks fo for example trap 1 tends to lose more time ls than not.

Also tried horses a while back trying to lay the slower horses in the race. Went amazingly well for 2 months and then something happened and suddenly truend around and seemed like I was picking tonnes of winners so not sure if data I was using changed or something šŸ˜€

@martin thank you! I’m looking forward to my time here. I actually got on the football stats last night and put an initial filter together and began paper trading it today.

It’d be great to share the concept and ideas about it and also get some top notch help here to improve it or establish if it’s actually worth doing.

Where would be the best place to post about this?

you could just use the main footy thread, esp as it's international break so will be quieter than usual

    @solomon-adebayo Hey buddy!

Welcome to the community, great to have you here and I think you will fit right in.

That's kind, we don't have to push BTC hard we have always said that if its right for people they'll sign up!

Smart plan, take some time let some things soak in create a plan for one strategy and then follow that one through.

Get stuck then let me know.

@andy-donnelly I'd say preference to be honest here, backing will mean you can keep it simple with the staking as say £2 on will be £2 loss if doesnt come in where laying will be £2 stake the liability will mean it could be X.

I'd say which one you feel more comfortable with the markets are efficient and mirror each other so there's no right or wrong answer.
