    @Alessandro-Imbrescia I personally think it matters less what you actually do in terms of staying in or trading out; the most important thing for me is staying consistent and adopting the same approach during every single trade.

    priceless advice!

    @Alessandro-Imbrescia problem with the underdog scoring first is it often means the next goal will be the equaliser. I would just cut and run in those games personally, if your strategy is to just trade out after a goal.

    @Martin
    I struggled at first with the Over/Under markets because I often let emotions take over, leading to poor decisions.
    So I decided to take a step back and focus on something simpler — the LTD strategy — and things have been going much better since then, even though I still make some mistakes.

    The main challenge for me now is understanding how long it’s worth staying in the trade, or when it’s better to take a small loss early.
    For example, if the underdog scores first, the cashout is often still negative — I’ve taken risks by staying in and it didn’t end well.
    Also, in very open matches where both teams attack constantly, the draw odds barely move after a goal because of the high chance of another quick one.

    So at the moment, I’m trying to clear my mind on these aspects — learning how to select the right matches, when to enter, and when to accept a small loss or push a bit further.
    I’m updating my system step by step as I go.

    @Alessandro-Imbrescia fantastic!

    Which strategies is it you want clarification on? A lot of the strategies will be from members so may not have instructions in the notes on the strategy.

    I wrote a good blog post on entry and exit points, worth a read if you get a chance: https://betfairtradingcommunity.com/en/blog/entry-and-exit-points

    Testing is the ultimate way to decide best entry and exit points, if you note these down you will see which trend works best and when, otherwise it is a bit of a guessing game and it is better to have the hard data and science behind you in my experience.

    @Martin
    I’m getting familiar with the platform, both the stats and the ratings, and I’ve started tweaking and testing my first strategies.
    It’s honestly an amazing tool!

    The only thing I’m still missing is a bit of knowledge. For example, I’ve seen some LTD strategies in the football section of the forum, but they don’t specify how they works.
    Of course, LTD is quite straightforward, but with other strategies I’m not familiar with, it’s a bit harder to understand.
    So for now, I’ll try experimenting on my own to figure it out.

    Are there any guides explaining how to apply the most common strategies?
    Even something that helps understand the key KPIs used to decide when to enter a match, or when to exit in profit or loss, based on typical approaches.

    Thanks
