    Hi traders,

    I joined this platform some days ago. I am an engineer and I have some background in trading stocks/etfs and options. I am a big football fan, so I wanted to see what football trading world offers. I noticed that, although some commonalities are there, it would appear that football markets are different in the sense they can be very volatile and trades have a very short window - taking foot off the pedal can ruin account. I am mostly in the learning phase just now: I started my account at just over 500 last month basically trying a few different strategies that I picked up here and there and my bank now at about 370 (perhaps could have been worse but I think I managed to take losses very quickly in some cases but not in many others - especially my last 2 or 3 trades that wiped out 200).

    I'm excited to read new joiners' trading stories and experiences, and look foward to sharing mine in due course as well, appreciating that I may have started in the right place compared to some :). I share a similar sentiment with folks that the BTC stats software has been of huge value, and that alone seems to me like a game changer if used properly. I have picked up a few basic strategies LTD/O1.5 over the past few weeks and looking to improve my understanding of these and especially when to deploy them.

    In terms of what I am loooking to do next / take away over the coming days, I'm looking to scale down my trade size a little bit and in the process look to learn as much as I can from this platform (will go about looking at blogs and pages). I am also hoping to make good use of the football software stats and do some paper trading to gain a better understanding of the dynamics of the markets, record my PnL while gaininng some confidence in the process.

    Lastly, a big thank you to Ryan and Martin and the rest of the BTC team for this product as well as the wonderful youtube videos. I also appreciate not upselling people, which drew me to sign up for this after watching a few videos.

    I look forward to this journey, the learnings that come with it and working with folks on the platform to achieve great goals.

    thank you,

    @solomon-adebayo Hey buddy!

    Welcome to the community, great to have you here and I think you will fit right in.

    That's kind, we don't have to push BTC hard we have always said that if its right for people they'll sign up!

    Smart plan, take some time let some things soak in create a plan for one strategy and then follow that one through.

    Get stuck then let me know.
