    Many many thanks Ryan & Chris. Your warm welcome and kind words are much appreciated.

    Chris I admire your stamina. It can't be easy teaching a close family member, it could be like teaching a family member to drive.

    I have been fortunate in that whilst being a carer I had nothing to do during the evenings. So, it was with trepidation that I decided to purchase a desktop back in the early 90's. I say trepidation, because you have to remember that people of our age were not even introduced to calculators until our early 20's, and even then we did not need them. For most our age computers are just a word, an item that is waaaay beyond our comprehension.

    Having purchased my desktop it was not long before I wanted to know how they worked. Full strip down and re-assembly, a couple of times told me that there was nothing to fear. Then how do web pages appear, so next task was learning HTML and CSS. Building websites was a simple matter once learned.

    So even though I am at an age where I should be relaxing, I am young in mind, try telling my body that, lol.

    Ryan. I sent you something yesterday (spreadsheet) It is hoped that you were not offended. It was to serve only as to how stupid I have been by not having the courage to fully follow my own hard hard work. I have decided that if allowed I shall post the odd selection on the forum, if that would be acceptable to yourselves.

    What a game of cricket we have here. Hopefully close to a full day's play. May the better team win.

    @waz Incredible, love it.

    I have always been fascinated with these kind of books and reading. recently been reading literally everything from Micheal Hyatt. It's brilliant.

    what was the best book/resource you found on this?

    @robert-davidson if you can try to get in just before the off, if near 11.0 be very careful it does not go above that at SP as that is a no bet

    Welcome to the group, I would say pick a sport that:

    You know most about You can trade - what I mean here is dont pick a sport that you wont be around to trade due to work commitments, family etc...

    @dan-helps Ahhh amazing! Mine now says is that trading talk? lol Then I always try to explain it to her and she doesn't really care.

    It's a cracker to be fair - it will work through summer too on the higher liquidity leagues too - Swedish, Norwegian etc...

    Cracking first post, the bit about the moon I really liked. Ideally, read some of the posts on the forum, watch the videos then start playing around with ideas on the market you want to trade - I always harp on about breaking it down into little bits so if you need over 2.5 goals think about everything that has to happen for that to come right then work back from there find out the answers. That will aid your trades, also sure if you post up on the forum people will give you good ideas around your trades.

    We have some profitable things happening here as well and people sharing their trades so can also do these and the guys posting are happy to help.
