Hi guys, I've just joined today so I thought I'd introduce myself.
Who you are? Jack
Where you are from? I grew up in North Wales, I currently live in Milton Keynes but I am soon moving to Salford in Manchester.
What stage are you at in your trading journey? I am really at the start of my trading journey. I have had Betfair and other exchange accounts for about 8 years, and I have a few years experience of matched betting but no direct trading experience.
What's your background? I am an ACCA qualified accountant. I work in the retail industry as a finance business partner currently.
Why did you join BTC? I have been exploring the options of trading recently, and after listening to a few of the podcasts and watching the Youtube videos I was drawn to the stats software and the idea of a community that can help me reach my goals.
What do you hope to get from the community? Learn, learn, learn. Soak in and absorb all the information there is on offer, and to learn from experienced traders. I do not personally know anyone who trades so it would be great to use the community as a sounding board.
What are some of your trading goals? Initially I want to learn the skill of trading, I'm not expecting to become rich over night but it would be nice to eventually start turning over a steady, consistent profit. If this is then scalable then potentially the sky is the limit!

I went back and listened to most of the podcasts from the last couple of years when I was on holiday last month, and I followed that up with the Youtube videos over the past few weeks which has convinced me to take the plunge and join up. I have tried out some of the business of betting podcasts as well.
I'm sure I will have questions along the way so I'll be in touch
