@Akiva-Anderson have you done well on the club World Cup?
Agree with one of your comments previously that there have been easy trading angles at times.
Prior to team news yesterday I was leaning to laying PSG but when I saw team news I immediately swung the other way. Real team was all over the place, didn’t think they’d have a chance and so it proved.
Midfield in particular was a mismatch. Personally think tchoameni and Bellingham are overrated and in current form nowhere near the quality of the PSG midfield three
Yeah, some great prices in that. Chelsea around EVENS every match. Prices have been great. SHG prices have be okay too.

@Akiva-Anderson Its unreal! lol I love it.

Anyone else done really well trading this summer?
Think it's been the best trading summer for me

@Akiva-Anderson Well they have rumours they are getting Dominic Calvert Lewin as their main striker.....
Linked Calvert Lewin, Vardy, Kean and Callum Wilson? How far have they dropped?!
-
Chelsea lay to back went perfectly. Not often a trade goes almost exactly how you expect
2.9 to 3.55
That was one of those rare times where I genuinely think it was very close to being a risk free trade

I got told off by a friend who is a Chelsea fan a few years ago for admitting that I can't support certain English teams in European competitions, he said I should support any English team - I still can't. So Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea no,no,no,no - hope I'm not alone
I'm the same. I only want my team to win and whoever is playing Man United!
-
@Martin @Andy-Donnelly @Nikki-HALSALL despite my earlier comment about Chelsea i actually have no real feelings towards any opposition teams whether that be in Europe or domestically... over the last few years i have become very detached from the emotion of being a football fan due to ticket prices, having kids etc etc i dont get to Fulham that often anymore and so when i do i enjoy the day out whether that be win or lose (usually lose)... i get my live football fix in non-league these days which is great (and you can have a lager whilst watching) and the occasional weekend away in Europe to vist grounds Fulham may never get the chance to play at.
I like the thinking behind laying Chelsea ahead of tonights match and whilst my trading on the competion is done (with profit thankfully) i am intrigued to see how the odds shift.
-
@Andy-Donnelly agree I want Chelsea to win it but who have they beaten? Wouldn't have them below 3.0 here

I support English teams in Europe in general but there are a two teams I would never support.

@Martin Just looking at the club World Cup outrights now. Feel like there is a very low risk play to be done before tonight’s game.
Chelsea are currently 2.88 (or 2.9 lay). I feel that price drifts regardless of who wins the other semi tonight. Would guesstimate it may go to the price Real are currently trading at which is 3.5, especially if PSG win.
So looks like a fairly safe lay Chelsea tonight before the other game and close trade tomorrow once finalists confirmed and market has settled.
Worst case scenario Real win after extra time and get a few players injured or suspended. Still think Real would be favs and price on Chelsea may just stay the same.
How do you read it?
-
@Nikki-HALSALL I am with you there, if they do well it directly impacts what happens to your team?! lol they win something its more money and more exposure.

I expect Chelsea to win tonight. Think they have played progressively better since the Flamengo game. Just not putting teams away when in control that makes it harder for them.
Expect they will get beaten comfortably in the final tho, so rest easy non-Chelsea fans
-
@Martin i greened up on my Madrid outright trade once they beat Dortmund and have gone against the grain and backed Fluminense with some of the profit so i am cheering on the Brazilians... as a Fulham fan it feels more natural than backing Chelsea
-
@Andy-Donnelly feels like the defacto final that one doesn't it!
-
@Martin Yeh agreed, was a straight forward one that.
Moving forward, having watched both games yesterday might be aligning with your thinking about Madrid. Looked good again yesterday other than crazy last few mins. PSG looked a bit leggy in their game. Wonder whether fatigue might be a factor for them in next game as they havent rotated a great deal.
