@Ryan I came here without an ounce of trading knowledge, I've knuckled down watched videos over and over again, read everything on here from other members and learnt what it all meant, took some grief off the missus too for watching (her words) "boring" YouTube vids about it all, told her if she carries on moaning she'll only get to smell the leather seats in my Porsche not sit on them when I make it big
It can be done, being profitable from it, albeit small at the start, but it takes time, hard work and dedication to get there, but once you are there though, the hardest part is done cos you understand more and can then apply that knowledge to other trading avenues.
I'm glad I'm where I am now and hopefully I'll gather more and more experience as i continue and eventually do what we're all here for, to make bigger profits. -
@Simon-Bates nice one you are going about it the right way still recording the old data
-
Hi @andrew-page I'd already gone through my data and worked out the odds ranges which were best for my strategy, i also took yours and @Martin 's advice and went through all the leagues and I've worked out which leagues are performing poorly for me, this should help me downscale my filter results even more without altering the filter settings for my strategy, I'm still guna record the data that I have been doing but also now record the new data without the leagues that have been no good for me, thanks for the help, I'll let you know how this goes.

@Simon-Bates This is a great answer, I love it! Thank you.
Yeh you will always be answering questions but its from a higher position now. Now it's the next problem, how do I get better.
But you've done the hardest bit now which most struggle with. You've been profitable so now you know it can be done. A lot of people haven't done that so they dont believe it can be done.

@Martin what was the difference between lay away 1.0 and 2.0? i think im still using 2.0 but not sure, its the 2.0 version in the pro filters under lay away example? Im testing 3.0 as well which had a great weekend while 2.0 was tricky
1.0 is the one in the members filters.
2.0 has odds range and league filters,
3.0 has updated odds range and league filters.do you have a copy of the 2.0 filter so i can back test it and compare it to 3.0?

Portsmouth v Barnsley looks like a good goal game today, should get a couple at least! (Cue the 0-0)
1-1 after 8 mins
3-2 full time happy days!

Annoying but still up overall!
-
@Martin Yup, it was going great guns for a while and I thought I had made it (not really!) but the results have been pretty weird recently, and the trades are not random leagues with no liquidity, they're all fairly big leagues. Oh well, onwards!
-
Anyone Lay Chesterfield last night!!!!!
losing 2-0 HT Finished 2-1
-
@Alastair-Todd been some odd results with second half goals recently I've noticed, could just be variance, still well up overall by looks of it
-
@Arran-Shackell back on recovery mode now - strats have had a bit of a boost and the deficit is slowly being chipped away at. - will probs mean a flat month as that was an insane down swing for me.
-
My SHG with 0-0 at HT has fallen off a cliff for some reason!
-
@andrew-page great points there!
