Has anyone got a good system set up for Gary's SHG strategy? I've downloaded one version of the bot but can't get it set up and firing for some reason

@matty-price Have you set up Autoload for the Over 1.5 Market? The football tips don't have the MarketID like the Horses do when you download them, so it can't load the markets just from uploading the tips, so you need to do that yourself first before importing the Football tips. If you don't want to autoload every football market then you can manually select the over 1.5 and just add the games you want.

@sean I have tried to start the split stakes for testing as my first automated football strategy and have created a csv file with same column names as in your pic and when i upload tips from file it says there are 2 added but then appears to show no info on the added tips. 0_1681550736563_importtips.png
As you can see the horse selection has the tabs filled. Do the football ones work in a different way? I have added the split stakes bot to my bf bot manager and it has added the part 1 & part 2 where i have linked them to part 1 & part 2 in the staking section. Just think i may be missing something else?

@daniel-mills I had noticed on the BTC&D preset filter the horse needs to be 1st, 2nd or 3rd favourite?

@joseph-henderson looks correct to me, where's it say that needs to be the case on the BTC&D strat? Couldn't see anything on the horse racing thread.

I have a similar rule set up on LTBF which excludes 1st and 2nd favourite from selections.

    Hi All,

I have realised that I had misinterpreted the Back the C&D settings as flagged by another user in the Horse Racing thread. I didn't realised it was designed to bet on horses that were either the favourite, second or third favourite. I have now adjusted by BFbot settings to hopefully be correct but I was hoping someone could confirm that I have selected the correct settings.

Under Selections Filter I have selected -> One of the selected options must be satisfied ("OR" logical operation). Then below under Allow Betting on Selections I have ticked "Allow Betting on favourites by position" and inputted -> 1,2,3

@john-folan yeah I've done that, but it doesn't load from the URL one or the auto load.

To be honest, I'm using BFBM for Betdaq because I've got Fairbot for Betfair and wanted to compare the two. I wonder whether it doesn't work on that? Seems odd to have the feature but that might be it.

Luckily I can still select the trades I want so it's not a complete failure. There are still loads I need to explore so I'm sure I'll be back with more issues!

It would be that then. The selection ID's would be different.

    @paul-foster @Nick-Riley Thanks both.

Yes, the horse win market is autoloaded and I checked the markets
I've added the URL in the Tips Auto Loading as well.
I can import tips from files just not URL.

It's not a big deal as I'm still working my way around it so it might click at some point. I've set up 2 bots because I want to see how it compares vs Fairbot. 1 uses selections from tips (I'm using Lay the Beaten Fav so just have LTBF as my software External ID and BFBM provider) and the other uses selections from My S. which I've manually selected. I wanted to see how all 3 get on, although there's likely to only be 1 trade today but quite a few for tomorrow.

Is the reload from URL button every hour filled in?0_1680684352828_1.JPG
Also did you get your URL from here?

Does anyone else find the uploading tips via url from published google sheets a bit temperamental? Some days it works fine others it doesn’t seem to pick up the tips. Would someone be able to share an example of the columns they used for uploading?

Great thanks - I’ll update mine. Also, the second part is only placed if it’s still 0-0 isn’t it?

    Yes that’s correct.

@dan-mackinnon Have you added the URL in the 'Tips Auto Loading', from with the 'Manage Tips' section of BFBM? You need it in there and set how often you want it to reload from the URL

Hi everyone, I'm trying out BFBM for a bit but I'm having trouble getting tips from the software. I can save them as CSV files and import them that way, but when I go via the URL it says 0 tips loaded.

I'm sure there's something obvious I'm missing. I've put the External ID in the software
    0_1680624158859_Screenshot 2023-04-04 165610.png

And I have the same on BFBM
    0_1680624196459_ltbf .png

I then go to the horse racing software and get the daily qualifiers and take the URL link and copy and paste this into BFBM but it doesn't seem to work. Am I missing something?

Apologises, I know this has been asked before but I still can't quite get my head round it.
    Thanks!

Thanks, I’ll check that. I actually think the error might have been due to the fact I was uploading tips via URL and I think only one bet can be placed on each tip according to the manual. So I think if uploading via tips then you may need to split out the two parts for this strategy so there is effectively two tips. I may be wrong though and will test.

@Joseph-Henderson It is ticked on mine and placed both back bets for me and hedged. Check the 'Match minute' in Market Conditions, when I downloaded it, it was set for only a 1-minute window so heaps of the 50min back bets were getting missed, so I extended it to place a bet between 50-55mins.
