@matthew-tomkins I couldn't get a spreadsheet to work for football selections but if you look on the events tree on the left hand side of BF bot manager you can scroll through and find the markets you want, double click them then they are added to your markets. Once in there expand them out, tick the box for your selection (home win/over 1.5/etc) and then click the 'move my s to manage tips form', give it the tipster/provider name to match your bot and it should then be in your selections

Hi. New member, getting to grips and reviewing the vast amount of info. Can anyone help me upload the CSV file I downloaded and saved from the profitable member's Football filters to Betfair Bot Manager, as this will save me so much time? I am following the instructions I can find here and from Betfair Bot Manager. When I do this I get a message informing me that the number of imported tips is zero. Thanks, Matt

If anyone fancies doing a video on importing the stats into BFBM using the button on our stats software let me know 🙂

B loody hell Yes, still getting knowhere....might be the Old Fart New Technology syndrome for me, but reading on here there seems a lot anomolies for everyone in different ways!

I import them using the stats, you don't need many details. I only have 4 columns in the csv and it works fine. Just have to make sure you have the market loaded for it to monitor and link them together

@paul-foster @sean I added the jong Ajax game which didn’t trigger as there was an early goal but also put Liverpool & Fiorentina games on as wanted to test, they fired & automatically traded out too so that’s good! Thanks for the help

@matty-price If you haven't got many selections then just selecting them from the Tree Navigation as Paul suggests would be the best way, otherwise you need to set up an AutoLoad for the Under/Over 1.5 Goals Market. You need to click "Auto load" which is near the top left corner under the 'Home' tab and create an AutoLoad. Then uploading the tips should work.

@matty-price I don’t use the csv for football as it’s usually just as quick to select the matches from the tree navigation. Also you need to load up each market, so you would have 1.5 goals market loaded for Ryan’s Split Stake, correct score market for SHG, match odds for LTD

Very quickly you are monitoring so many matches to just trade a small handful.

However, if you do want to make the selections through csv then you would need to add a SelectionId column.

The selection ID for over 1.5 goals is 1221386.

As long as you have Provider, SelectionId and EventId it should fire if the market is loaded.

@sean no I haven't but as the football selections on here don't have a link to BF bot like the horses i am struggling to get the csv file correct. i have read through the bf bot manager manual but i must have missed something as the selections are not coming in correctly. This is my csv sheet from Saturday morning, i was just trying to test the Villa v Newcastle game:

Has anyone got a good system set up for Gary's SHG strategy? I've downloaded one version of the bot but can't get it set up and firing for some reason

@matty-price Have you set up Autoload for the Over 1.5 Market? The football tips don't have the MarketID like the Horses do when you download them, so it can't load the markets just from uploading the tips, so you need to do that yourself first before importing the Football tips. If you don't want to autoload every football market then you can manually select the over 1.5 and just add the games you want.

@sean I have tried to start the split stakes for testing as my first automated football strategy and have created a csv file with same column names as in your pic and when i upload tips from file it says there are 2 added but then appears to show no info on the added tips. 0_1681550736563_importtips.png
As you can see the horse selection has the tabs filled. Do the football ones work in a different way? I have added the split stakes bot to my bf bot manager and it has added the part 1 & part 2 where i have linked them to part 1 & part 2 in the staking section. Just think i may be missing something else?

@daniel-mills I had noticed on the BTC&D preset filter the horse needs to be 1st, 2nd or 3rd favourite?

@joseph-henderson looks correct to me, where's it say that needs to be the case on the BTC&D strat? Couldn't see anything on the horse racing thread.

I have a similar rule set up on LTBF which excludes 1st and 2nd favourite from selections.

    Hi All,

I have realised that I had misinterpreted the Back the C&D settings as flagged by another user in the Horse Racing thread. I didn't realised it was designed to bet on horses that were either the favourite, second or third favourite. I have now adjusted by BFbot settings to hopefully be correct but I was hoping someone could confirm that I have selected the correct settings.

Under Selections Filter I have selected -> One of the selected options must be satisfied ("OR" logical operation). Then below under Allow Betting on Selections I have ticked "Allow Betting on favourites by position" and inputted -> 1,2,3
