Great shout

@damon-heslop yes I agree, the more I started to read about trading mindsets on the financial markets the more I thought Jesus this is the same.
Wow 15 years!! That is a long time! I think that's it as well nerves of steel, its the emotions that get you, when you can handle those and fight your natural reaction to things it will change the game for many!

Fognini again, 1.22 out to 2.30 in the first set.
-
Fognini is up to his usual tricks at the moment. Neither of them holding serve in the first set.

Yeah, I was a stockbroker for about 15 years and was lucky to spend a fair amount of time sat with traders, who were market making. The mentality required is strikingly similar. The beauty of sports trading, though, is that it's so much easier to play the market maker. Impossible to do that with stocks, unless you have direct access to the order book and the broker commission and stamp duty makes it even harder. Need nerves of steel in both occupations, that's for sure.

@damon-heslop It's the best way I have found to describe what we do to the public.
I have spoken with proper investment bankers - they think of it as we are investors as well!

@damon-heslop Ahahahah love it!!!
I have caught mine telling me off though when they say well Ryan gambles doesn't he....I've heard her go no no, he trades its different. It's like investing in the stock market but Ryan invests in sports. Then I am like that's my girl!
Haha. Yes, we are merely investors!

@damon-heslop Ahaha love that, I spent a whole afternoon in a long car journey explaining it to mine (not wife though - she's been waiting a while) I think it was a waste of time, she says she sort of understands it lol
My missus usually asks, out of politeness, what exactly it is that ties me to a PC for hours, whilst swearing constantly. After a few minutes of explaining, she then resembles somebody who has just undergone a full frontal lobotomy. Eyes glazed, mind incapable of registering any interest. A conversation about a new sofa/carpet/curtains then ensues.

Will back these ones if a break or set down.
Martincova
SchmiedlovaLet them serve once each. Enter when they are one break or set down. Take profit when they break up, or take stop loss when they go a second break down. Good luck.
Martincova is a win.

Anybody else been trading Bertens v Keys?
Been a great game for trading
So many breaks of serve!Bertens has had 2 match points
Keys has had 1 match pointI missed it unfortunately. Hope you mopped up. I struggle getting involved in the tennis whilst horse racing and football's in full flow. I can only juggle so much. Think I need to teach the wife how to take care of some of it!
