why do i get the feeling we are in like a pre planning for some form of super league happening and people are just looking for sleeping giants as a sneaky way to grab that share, im delighted for newcastle as they have been through utter crap and are too big a club to be wasting its potential, but in future if owners are just allowed to buy top levels clubs in europe then just keeps building a barrier to entry for rest. Im a celtic fan its already a steep slope. Is this just a smart move by them as you cant buy multiple clubs if they are both in champs league? or have i read that wrong somewhere? Either way im still excited to see what they do at newcastle, Gerrard manager and Ramsey first signing, would be a solid startnice I'm a big Inter fan, first shirt I ever had was one that my dad brought back from Milan at UEFA cup game Norwich played against them!

I think hes a top class manger. The main aim is we have to stay up. So glad ashley gone the celebrations last night where purely ashley leaving. The take over at Newcastle and all the other clubs is surely another nail in the coffin for smaller Champs, LG 1 and all the way down.
Even more monies will be taken from their bank accounts as these new super powers will suck out more monies at the top end.

@darri look at the group that own Man City. They also own a feeder team in Europe (for work permit reasons), teams in USA, China, India, Australia and possibly more!
As much as I'm happy Newcastle have got rid of Ashley I'm sure it won't be the last we see of him. I agree what you've said about Celtic getting left behind, same for many historically big Premier League clubs. Take Everton for example, what's their best hope now? Finish 7th and play in that ridiculous Conference League. I said it before, but they should have let them do the Super League and kick them out of the PL. Invite Rangers and Celtic and have a real competitive league!
Not to sound like a grumpy old man but the more I see about modern football the more depressing it is. It's becoming a gameshow rather than a competition.
