Hello, guys!
Does exist statistics about the percentage of the fav win a race?
I mean in which percentage a fav win a race? per each country, race type etc?Is it a good strategy just to Lay the fav with a recovery strategy on BFbotmanager?
Take a look at Adrian Massey's site

Very Very Quiet day on the Racing Trading frontage!!

@john-folan
The strategy, which as you say seems to be a thing, came from Hubby who watches racing a lot. He made the throw away comment that horses seem to do a lot better in the 2nd race not the first. So I tested it on a free trial database I was using and it seems to be true
I think it will work best on non faves, and longer races, and national hunt. It will probably have high variance. But its all about finding unusual angles to gain the edge -

@caroline I doubt it will exist, this definitely wins obscure stat request award!
What do I win if I tell you that we do actually capture that data and can add it as a strategy rule?
You never cease to amaze!

@Adam is this possible to add?
This was a big thing on proform. I’d did seem to give a horse some extra oomph

Good Morning All,
I am a very new member of BTC and still working my way round all the info, so apologies if this is in the wrong place
Is there any way on this site that you can build a strategy around wind ops, and more importantly back test it
You would need to have info on the first 5 races that a horse runs after a wind op as it takes different horses different times to gain confidence that running hard is not going to hurt (apparently!)
I have been able to test out the strategy only with the second race after a wind op and the results are encouraging to BSP
Bearing in mind the table below are with no other filters whatsoever so results can easily be improved
If this doesn't already exist can it be added in the future?
Many thanks -
Apologies for the downtime all. Something went a bit haywire (technical term!) when the latest load of race abandonments were announced.
You can now access the software again and the displayed data is currently catching up. Only Wolverhampton and Kempton on today and Lingfield already abandoned tomorrow
