If Eng get the last wicket fairly quickly, when they come into bat is it still worth an Eng lay at say anything below 3.0?
My assumption is the loss of a few early wickets and the Eng price will drift heavily. But if no wicket the price will be fairly stable?

Hard to see anything other than a NZ win here, unless something really dramatic happens. Wood and Stone look ineffective and the lack of a genuine spinner is a glaring mistake. Leach should certainly have played.
-
@richard-futter interesting when Nz take lead and punch on and throw the bat when 7-8 down how market reacts plenty time in this weird so short
-
@nathan-bennett I've noticed that prices around 3.5 are often an excellent support point. The price has been around that mark for the past 20 minutes, so a great point to lay the draw with a very low risk and a great upside if a wicket falls.
-
Out and about keeping it simple lay draw 3.8
-
Match looks nicely poised. Still good value in laying the draw I think. A stalemate is highly unlikely I reckon - in my book it should be around 10.0.
-
Managed to get a draw lay in at 3.40 just before Conway wicket. Green building nicely.
-
gradually greening up day 2 within 70% of maximum green showing... $4 eng be great
then perhaps eye towards a nz lay if short odds on for a swing
-
England lay looking good at the moment as their price drifts and draw price is coming in. No rush at the moment ball not doing much and batsman set.

great ball
it was straight however ha -
go the lefties
conway on his way to worlds best batsmen well took a bet off a mate 50@30 within two years lift haha -
The ball started to move more after about 25 overs yesterday, when the lacquer came off. If the same happens again, it could make for an interesting afternoon.
-
@richard-futter should atleast be safe for a fair while

Liking 1.68 lay ENG could be a nice stale market to go against hard to see it rapidly shortening
Wickets time a solid start by NZ with bat if ENG hit 3’s some stage will green up fair amountLay looking good!

How's everyone feeling about today's play? Looks like a good day for batting, although Michael Holding feels 290 to 300 is a par score.
I still think England are too short, but if Anderson is at his best he's certainly capable of making early inroads in the NZ batting line up.
It seems as though the pitch is difficult for players starting their innings but if they get their eye in it's possible to make a big score, so for me the play could be to back NZ if their batting gets off to a solid start.
I'll also be happy to lay the draw at anything under 5; there's plenty for all bowlers in this surface and I'll be shocked if the draw price doesn't crash out in due course.
-
@nathan-bennett yeah mate I’m keeping my lay of England open into today and hoping for a very kiwi day will reassess if it goes against me obviously but should be a great days cricket.
-
@nathan-bennett thanks that's great and makes sense. It's a no brainer then!

@dj-reid just an example .., but yes at current stage price is stupid i believe . would only take nz to get a few runs with the bat and that market to drift quite fast . in general i like too look too lay teams first inns odds on been profitable for me
and on other hand if you really fancied ENG ask yourself what price do you think they could be day 3.4 even 5 .. im sure at best ther price wouldnt be far off what it is now
sort of how im thinking here as to why think a lay is good
