    TEST IND ENG
what price INDIA if have 450 run lead
i still have a IND lay running for now assess next 20 overs

    couple things eye on
if india put them self in a position where they start throw the bat for quick runs and an impending declaration looms
i'll be jumping on a massive back of ENG and when declaration happens watch the green rise as people remove all there lay bets and a true market kicks in for the chase
and judge that trade from there

also if Englands top order fail even root and IND hit that 1.10 range i'll be auto laying for 10-20 tick swing and assess

tell you what, after trading for almost a year, Cricket is the market to be - so much liquidity, and so much opportunity, its an easier market than , say, football.

Thats interesting, I've not really tracked what can happen in cricket trading especially test matches until the last couple of weeks messed up the England Women's match - weather caught me out but all good its definitely something I'll look at more not so much trading but following the markets but I can definitely see the potential.

@stuart-wallace yeah that makes sense. I think it’s hard to explain cricket trading to non-cricket fans because the outcome can be so unpredictable and the market reflects that.

I know what you mean about aggressive trading. I started with £100 bank and was risking 6pts to win 2 but it works for me. If it works for you and you’re comfortable with it then crack on and good luck!

I dont have a strategy per se. Simply look at markets and see what i think is going to happen with my cricket experience. i know it sounds a bit hit and miss, but anybody who 'knows' cricket will know what im talking about

Read my mind. Was going to ask how you achieved 5 points? I typically only get 1-2 points profit a match.

Only simply that because of having a tiny bank i tend to trade aggressively with a high percentage of my bank, and this has raised a big gain. Dont forget i'm only talking about a 100 pound bank to begin with (that is now approaching 400)

@matt-ayles My 'tiny' bank is now maturing into a medium size bank ! And its all to do with trading only on Cricket. Football sucks 🙂
Just made a 5 point gain in the Windies game in about 1 hour !
really looking forward to be able to trade the other summer Tests .
Plus we are so fortunate in that Cricket is played year round now.
And also realised that having a bank that isnt tiny gives you more scope for trading.

@stuart-wallace great to hear mate. I have found once you get solid strategies, cricket is such a good sport to trade with the way the markets swing and the liquidity.

Maybe one day the bankroll will be such that I'll actually be able to start taking it out and using it on things!

So, whats everyone plans from now?

All the Tests so far have provided early wickets, and batting is tough until over 30.
So, with that in mind, I am Laying India at 1.46 til over 30, and re-assess then.
Also looking to drip my existing LTD .

Traded out on Kohli wicket - took small green on Lay IND, but LTD romping away nicely.

Appears a great stale market to lay IND
Re laying IND 1.52 round two
    Stake back at 2.4’s again

    Almost asleep ha
    IND 1.6-2.3 nice
    Free rolling IND lay

Draw could steam right in when IND bat if survive first 20 overs and run rates only fair
Who knows maybe even odds on (DREAMING HA)

Only one scenario of many that can play out of course

    Jadeja needs to bowl
