@ian-wylie I was thinking along these line too perhaps, maybe the market was suspended for some reason.
Just seems odd its worked with all other tests and all previous steps have been excuted
-
@kevin-pepper The previous picture was my full log. There is no mention of the 1st back bet for the VVV game at all.
Here is a screen shot of the steps before, all others before and after were excuted. And with all other games i have tested with the bet has been placed.

@fraser-cord I've had a couple of issues with this bot as well but not had the time to test and analyse it properly. Part of the problem with testing it is that you need various scenarios to test it fully e.g. a goal before 30mins to make sure it doesn't enter, first goal between 30 - 50, first goal between 50-70 etc.
A potential problem is the dreaded VAR of course as it can take several minutes to chop a goal of during which time the bot is likely to have traded out as the market probably won't have been suspended for all of the time.

@fraser-cord Unmatched ?
Check in Tools/Options/log and it should give you a list of trades.
Turns out not, it didnt place the 1st back bet on VVV game. I had it set on 2 games that kicked off at the same time. Only placed the back bet on Sittard game (as it happened, the one that had a goal before 50 mins, but says its unmatched yet I made a profit so it must have been matched).
It then placed the 2nd back bet on the VVV game at 50 mins having not placed the 1st at 30 mins. Can it only follow 1 market at a time?Also is there a way to ensure a bet gets matched. For example place the bet 1 tick below current price so its instantly taken even with a price move?
There shouldn't be a problem following multiple markets/events. I can't see your 'First back bet' from the s/shot. Can you send a s/shot from the strategy editor?
Regarding getting the bet matched, there are various ways but of course the easiest is to just place it at the current best back odds. I sometimes set the back bet at the best lay bet -1 tick to try and get a slightly better price if the price will naturally drift anyway. If I do, I'll add a Condition to check that there's a small(ish) spread between the Best Back & Lay prices....

Thanks @Steven-Fletcher and @Terry-Heller
Il test tomorrow but think i finally cracked it. It was jammed on horse racing markets so even when i was on a football market it thought i was still on horses. So when i tried to make the edits you suggested, i could only select win or place, no option for any football markets, wierd.
So just deleted the strategy and reimported it, then made the suggested edits. Fingers crossed now.
Been testing all week and the same problem has persisted twice now. The bot is not placing the 2nd back bet at 50 mins. Its placing the 1st at 30min, its cashing out if a goal goes in and its cashing out for a loss at 70 mins.
Here is the report from todays game, its saying its executing the 2nd back bet but its not been placed. Any ideas?

@steven-fletcher & @Chris-Osborne Thanks for this. I'll look to experiment with it in the next few days:thumbs_up:

Hi, I was wondering how to operate the tennis strategy, pls? Like..do you just select all the tennis 'match odds' markets you can and apply the bot to all of them?
I tried it a few days ago in simulation mode, but I kept getting an error message (can't remember exactly what it said -- something about scores being unavailable iirc)
I've been having a heck of a time with the horses (I only really started in Jan and it's been a bit tough mentally and financially lol), so I figured getting the tennis bot set up and ticking along might be a really good thing to do
Any help greatly appreciated!!
The Tennis bot works in the Match Odds market but its not really something to run on all matches unless in simulation to get a feel for how it works. Like everything the selections fed into the bot are as important as the automtion
It based on laying the favourite if the first set score gets to 4-4. If the first set goes to the fav it will red up for a loss. If the underdog wins you should be able to take the profit.
Because of the way it works Fairbot wont be able to run the rule if the score data isnt avaliable
Ive tested this in simulation mode but havent traded it
To add, the favourites price at the start of the match should be no higher than 1.4

@terry-heller same fix though!
-
@steven-fletcher Ahh explained much better with screenshots!

@fraser-cord
Hi Fraser you could try applying the strategy to a match and then going to
Strategy Editor then go to the
First back bet rule and right click and select edit rule
Goto the Action Tab
Look at the action parameters and select 'other'
You should then get a list of markets.....so select the O1.5
Then the next where it says choose selection select 'By Name' from the drop down list there
Then In the Selection drop down choose Over 1.5.
When you apply the strategy to games afterwards those settings are remembered.
So when leaving strategy editor click save changes when prompted
Good luck -
@fraser-cord for some reason its not pulling across the market info
its easy enough to alter in strategy editor
If you edit the to back rules to the below
Make sure you select Choose Market "Other" and then select OVER_UNDER_1.5
Then for Choose Selection go for "By Name" and the select "Over 1.5 Goals"
at the moment it looks like because the name and market arent matching it cant find the right market to fire
-
@steven-fletcher This was the error. I think its the same? Set on O 1.5 goals market
-
@steven-fletcher Thanks. Il give it a go later when I get a minute.

@fraser-cord Hi Fraser, I found an issue when running it so have altered it slightly and am trying it in simulation mode, just needs some games to be 0-0 at 30 mins now to try it out
Cheers @Ian-Wylie . Yeh I set it at 27 mins and as soon as it hit 30, the error came up. Was set on Over/Under 1.5 market and game was 0-0.
-
@fraser-cord is that what it shows when you load it on a live over 1.5 market?
The lack of score will be the case before the live score data comes in.
Do you get the same errors with this file
