I totally agree and you beat me to posting it, they are still the dominant force in that league and I cannot see who will Rival them to be honest, couple of teams that way have done well but nothing to make me think they will really push them too hard - they'll go deep in the season and then we have a nice trade out.

8.6 is a good price for the Patriots this year, Gronk loss not as important as people may think, he has had little impact last couple of years apart from that one catch in Superbowl last year. Patriots had a good draft and free agency, while Chiefs and Steelers let go of their star running backs and wide receivers. Hard to see Patriots not getting number 1 seed again and hosting the AFC championship.

@ryan-carruthers good point, the big concern with Rosen is he comes from a privileged background which is rare in the NFL! He seems to be criticized for being intelligent also, which is strange. May not be a leader in the locker room which is a concern, just hope he is more Tom Brady and less Jay Culter (Jay Cutler used to get ready in a different locker room than his team in Chicago!)

@ryan-carruthers we have a stack of draft picks already next year, think Rosen will have to show some serious promise for us not to pick a QB early. I would rather lose with a young player who can develop than a veteran like Ryan Fitzpatrick, not sure what you gain playing him really, he's not suddenly going to turn into an elite QB

@ryan-carruthers Josh Rosen to Miami for a late second round pick, could be an absolute steal for the 10th pick last year! even if he fails we will get a high pick next year and could get Tua instead (like the Cards did this year replacing him with Murray). His 11 million signing on bonus was paid by Arizona so his salary for next three years would be £2 million a year! The old regime paid Jay Cutler £10 million for one year to come out of retirement lol hopefully these good decisions are a sign of a long term change of thinking.

@mark one of the worst QBs to win 2 rings? Must be up there! Been average at best for many years now surprised he is still there tbh if he didn't have the Manning name I don't think he would be.
Whoa whoa whoa! Steady there mate!
Don’t let the last few years cloud judgement. He was a good but inconsistent QB. Never elite. On his day (which hasn’t happened for a long time!) he was great. And in his defence further he’s had no O line for 5 years. But he has regressed himself, significantly since 2011.

Jesus H Christ. Gettleman, during an interview said Eli had ‘a heck of a year’ in 2018 and the D let the Giants down as the season went on. Delusions of grandeur. Worrying times for us GMen!
I love Eli. He’s a hero of mine and has given me the greatest two moments watching the NFL, winning two rings but for the love of god we need to move on!
