@bob I have backed New England (obvious but still a good price considering how often they bloody win it!) be surprised if they don't make the AFC title game where they will trade much shorter.
My wildcard pick this year is the Bears, with that scary D reminiscent of the 1985 version, I think they could surprise a few.

Any thoughts on the pats trading bigger early in the season? Last few seasons they have been slow starters so people start to write them off/Brady is past it blah blah blah then they make the play offs and slot in to top gear and are the best team in the league. I didn’t track the price movements last year but would guess it would have drifted for first few weeks? Anything like that likely this year you reckon?

I totally agree and you beat me to posting it, they are still the dominant force in that league and I cannot see who will Rival them to be honest, couple of teams that way have done well but nothing to make me think they will really push them too hard - they'll go deep in the season and then we have a nice trade out.

8.6 is a good price for the Patriots this year, Gronk loss not as important as people may think, he has had little impact last couple of years apart from that one catch in Superbowl last year. Patriots had a good draft and free agency, while Chiefs and Steelers let go of their star running backs and wide receivers. Hard to see Patriots not getting number 1 seed again and hosting the AFC championship.

@ryan-carruthers good point, the big concern with Rosen is he comes from a privileged background which is rare in the NFL! He seems to be criticized for being intelligent also, which is strange. May not be a leader in the locker room which is a concern, just hope he is more Tom Brady and less Jay Culter (Jay Cutler used to get ready in a different locker room than his team in Chicago!)

@ryan-carruthers we have a stack of draft picks already next year, think Rosen will have to show some serious promise for us not to pick a QB early. I would rather lose with a young player who can develop than a veteran like Ryan Fitzpatrick, not sure what you gain playing him really, he's not suddenly going to turn into an elite QB
