Disastrous start from LA, but loved that call from McVay on the punt. He's got balls

@charles-cartwright
Er in some parallel universe the Chiefs v Pats is the first game! Ha ha.

@mark
Agree its a loss but their defense is so dominant I expect them to be able to compensate. This is a team that gave up only 11 rushing TDs all year and stuffed the Rams running game in the first meeting,
I cant see anyway the Rams can win without Goff having a huge day so I have hedged my confidence on the Saints by having a dip on Goff and Woods having a big day.
Also expect something crazy involving Taysom Hill. Should be a fun game. Will be a lot more enjoyable for me if the Patriots get stuffed in the AFC Champ.
Enjoy the games!

Agree about the Rams. They've now got a 1-2 punch with Gurley and CJ.
Hmmmm.....Saints number 2 defense against the run
Sheldon Rankins on IR is a huge positive for the Rams run game. Big miss for the Saints

Hmmmm.....Saints number 2 defense against the run and Rams number 23....
Anderson only getting time because Gurley is beaten up and can't carry the load. Kamara to have a big game and Brees to pick em off.
Goff to throw for over 300 yards isnt a bad play at a big price because they will be behind, not be able to run, and so he will have to pass early and often.

@martin-futter
I dont have a dog in the fight....but I do feel that you can make money on this game because people ignore stats when it comes to the Pats which makes the odds much more attractive than they should be. I make the Chiefs at least a 4.5 fav in this game.
Champ games always used to be regular 1/4 pm schedule but of course money talks and they want a lead in game (prob college basketball) to the first NFL game and then the second game is primetime Sunday night.
Sometimes good to be living in the Western Hemisphere

I hope that one day if I can make enough money trading I'll be able to do stuff like this!
I've booked the day off work for after the Superbowl though! First day I book off each year.

Championship Weekend!
Patriots @ Chiefs:
Pats coming good at the right time, run game has come on leaps and bounds this season, Brady not been exceptional but still makes very few errors.
Chiefs have been flying, scoring at will all season but the defence was one of the worst this season especially against the run.
To me this is a 50/50 game I like the experience of New England here and 2.56 seems a nice price all things considered.Rams @ Saints
I don't buy the Saints love as much as other seem to this season, they were good but have looked very vulnerable in recent weeks and scraped past the Eagles in the last round. Could be a similar story to the game above where if Rams can get their great run game going they could grind out the win.
Again looks a 50/50 to me and because of that I like the Rams at 2.5 odds.Could be two great games with lots of twists for us traders!
Just wish they were 6pm & 9.05pm games! Can't wait to watch the first one. Agree about the Rams. They've now got a 1-2 punch with Gurley and CJ. It will be a really interesting game to trade especially if the Saints go ahead. Also had a speculative punt on Goff anytime TD scorer. I can really see McVay mixing it up on any 2nd/3rd downs near the goal line. Both coaches love unorthodox plays

@martin-futter
Martin....
See it completely differently to you. The Pats are terrible on the road this year have only 1 win against a decent team away from Foxboro and Pat Mahomes is not going to melt down. I like the Chiefs in this one and to cover the 3 pts.
In the NFC, Saints will win and again cover the spread. I cant bet against them in a home game where for the most part they have been fantastic this year. They will move the ball against the Rams and the Rams will not be able to run against the Saints D. If it comes down to Brees v Goff well....enough said.
I wont be trading these games...I just took the two home teams to cover in a straight up double.

@rob-lawton I know lol wasting the talents of Wilson!!

@ryan-carruthers to confirm that the run is miles less popular than it was, look at RB salaries! also 3rd down and more than 1 or 2 is an automatic pass now!
Apparantly not in Seattle...

@Ryan-Carruthers It’s the coaching team. Wilson wasn’t calling the plays on Saturday.
Run, Run, Run, Punt all the time. It wasn’t working yet they wouldn’t switch it up.With a QB like Wilson he should be trusted to call the play as he sees fit. 3rd and 22 and they ran the ball for 2 yards only to punt it back. It was such a waste.
