Well.... that system of the Pat's really is something!!
I am amazed at the score, I get it when people say that they cannot understand why people love it.... but man I can't get enough of the NFL, I struggled last season but this season I have enjoyed it again. What a show!!
-
No idea how you all manage to stay up to watch this. Goes on endlessly with the dumb pregame and the half time crap.
Anyway as far as selections are concerned....
Took the Pats giving 2. All this lovefest for McVay ignores who he is coaching against. Pats will be prepared to close the Rams down and I see the B/B show one last time.
Also took the under 56.5. Think that is a tad high for this game and underestimates defences on both sides. Wont be a low scoring game I don't think but the under is good value I think....
Pats 28 Rams 24

@mark Same, I love the whole spectacle of it, sport is such an occasion in the states I love their attitude to it!
And not just today. It’s an all year round sport. Free agency next, then the draft, mini camps, training camps and before you know it Hard Knocks will be back on our screens. I can’t get enough
Enjoy tonight lads! I’d love to think McVay can do this but Bills knowledge and experience might just get the Pats over the line

Also added Dorsett and Goff for anytime scorers, both minimum bets. Don’t punt anymore other than the SB or Cheltenham, but it’s for a bit more enjoyment
-
All ready traded out of the outright market. Opened a book on betfair had the Rams, Pats, Saints, Bears, Ravens and Chiefs backed. I’m out with about 50% profit
Like @Martin I’m leaning towards the Pats for the win. Had a couple of punts on Donald and White for MVP and will do an anytime scorer at some point. Quite fancy the Unders too. Read somewhere about the Pats lack of SB points early on in the game but I need to double check this. If correct, Rams could get ahead which could open up an opportunity
I’m going to bed at 8, and will grab a couple of hours sleep before getting back up for it. Got my food and drinks in already to see me through the night
Such a special occasion, I absolutely love it

Super Bowl Sunday is here!!!
What is everybody's plans for it?
Patroits look slight value to me, enough to warrant a small bet but I am in a very good position from the Rams back a few months ago so won't be taking any major risks.
-
@charles-cartwright Ahaha same but I want them to beat the Rams in the SB!

Championship Weekend!
Patriots @ Chiefs:
Pats coming good at the right time, run game has come on leaps and bounds this season, Brady not been exceptional but still makes very few errors.
Chiefs have been flying, scoring at will all season but the defence was one of the worst this season especially against the run.
To me this is a 50/50 game I like the experience of New England here and 2.56 seems a nice price all things considered.Rams @ Saints
I don't buy the Saints love as much as other seem to this season, they were good but have looked very vulnerable in recent weeks and scraped past the Eagles in the last round. Could be a similar story to the game above where if Rams can get their great run game going they could grind out the win.
Again looks a 50/50 to me and because of that I like the Rams at 2.5 odds.Could be two great games with lots of twists for us traders!
Two great games, my theory of 50/50 was proven as both went to overtime! Two nice winners too for a very good profit.

@martin-futter Against my religion to bet on the Pats...but well maybe......

@martin-futter
You should be! Hope you have a nice chunk still sitting on that one.

@charles-cartwright i'm more pleased on my May prediction https://betfairtradingcommunity.com/en/blog/nfl-season-201819-early-preview

@martin-futter
Congrats. I did finish up ahead because I got out of my main bet for a small green before the tying FG in regulation. I also had Brees to throw a TD in both halves so that paid off. My only loser on this game was I had Goff to throw for 300 yds and he ended up with 297!
I am not touching the second game now given how crazy that one was.
Sean Payton completely lost the plot on that last drive and then that ridiculous no-call was such bulls***....
Would be mad as hell if I was a Saints fan.

First one in so profit no matter what happens in the next game!

Jesus that was one of the worst no calls I have ever seen....and I mean ever.
Not that I have anything riding on this game
-
@martin-futter Big stop and then drive by Rams to close the half. Good game so far.
