BF Bot Manager

@john-folan nice one, how has it been going?
-
I’m going to use this as the bfbotmanager automated trading thread. Bfbotmanager has been my weapon of choice for 18 months now.
-
@jason-gambling you can use crossover and Fairbot - Fairbot can automate trading I think @Alan-Steward might use fairbot?
I use crossover and fairbot as I am on Mac and didn't want windows.
-
@jason-gambling I haven’t tried it for BF bot manager but I used to use crossover to run fairbot on my MacBook so might be worth checking it out. Either way, you will either need some software to link it or a windows simulator
-
Hi folks, been trawling through the pages for mention of anyone on mac using a BOT, and not seen anything so far.
It's looking like I may have to get Parallels software (to simulate Windows), then I can get access to BF Bot Manager
Anyone got any better / alternate solutions on how to use on a Mac?

@josh-hodgson I am very new to this software. I downloaded it for 3 days ago so I am in a learning prosess my self. My set up is different from yours. I don't use "My selections" so I can't tell if that is working. Here is how BFBM support told me to set it up:
You should use "Market conditions->Markets filter" and set it to allow betting only on Over/under market of your choice.
You can use "Market conditions->Football - Match minute" to allow betting between set minutes of match.
You can use "Market conditions->Football - Bet when scores" to allow betting only when score is one of selected scores.For each over/under market you should create separate strategy e.g. one for over/under 0.5 goals, second one for over/under 1.5 goals, third one for over/under 2.5 goals.
Here is my setup:

@steinar-amundsen
Do these images look correct to you to place a bet at the 50 minute mark on the games that I have selected for my selections?This is the selection condition tab
Thanks

I thought I had created a bot successfully with the using the goal in the second half strategy.
It says that it places a bet on the bf bet manager as it shows the results on the tab. However, when I check my Betfair account, no bets have been placed?
Any help would be appreciated?
Thanks
If you have the bot set up in simulation mode you will only see the "results" in the bot, not in your betfair account. You need to set the bot in Real Mode for the bot to activate real trades in your BF account. There is severeal training videos on the BFBM web site that you should see.
which videos in particular do you think would help bud? could you maybe link a couple in here if possible?
-
@josh-hodgson That's strange. My bot setup works fine. Sorry, I can't help you in this matter. I think you need to contact BFBM support.

@steinar-amundsen
Here is an image of the results tab on BFBM. But it doesn't place the bets on my Betfair account
-
@martin-futter not yet

@steinar-amundsen I tried it in the training mode and it looked like it placed bets 2 days ago as there were results in the results tab. So I tried it in the real mode yesterday, the results were in the results tab but when I checked my Betfair balance no bets had been placed?

Does anyone have any strategies set up for BF Bot Manager where it uses the selections from the 'Back a Goal After 60 mins' markets?
I have just tried to have a go at it but couldn't figure out how to add the strategy on.
Any help would be appreciated

Does anyone know if BFBM can fire a bet on the next OX.5 g overs market at a spesific time? Eg. the score at 59 min is 1-0 or 0-1, then the bot should fire a bet at 60 min on the O1.5 goals market. If the score is 2-3 at 59 min the bot should fire a bet on the O5.5 goals market.
I think on BF Bot Manager you would have to set them up as individual strategies for each market.
So one for over 0.5 only if the score is 0-0, one for over 1.5 if the score is only 1-0 or 0-1, one for over 2.5 only if the score is 1-1, 2-0 or 0-2 etc etc. -
@steinar-amundsen A simple fix for that on Bet Angel is to create a file with an odds window for the overs market say between 2.2 - 5.1 but it can only fire on 58mins + 1.5mins FH injury time (Obv this is approx. and the window it can trigger will only be say 90secs) and can only trigger once... I load up all the overs markets for that specific game and add the file to all... Works fine on Bet Angel... Maybe you can do something similar on BF Bot Manager?
