@dave-jessop I could probably do that in a few minutes with BetAngel but I find BFBM hard going. All I do is use existing bots and alter them to suit. Can't help any more than that, sorry.

@dave-jessop how did the O 0.5HT strat do for you on Saturday? I guess it makes a huge difference which game you start with but for me it was a big loser all weekend, when I say big, I mean I had many losses, stakes are tiny but the weekend loss was about 17 quid. Have you altered anything since last Wednesday? (when you sent me the strats)

I've added a game filter copied from that Portugese chap to football strats. Might be useful to others, so I'll put it here for you to copy & paste.

I've reduced it to 25p now to cover a long losing run which you are going to get as the bot doesn't fire until around 20 minutes so only gives you about 25 to get a goal - will change this to fire 20-25 minutes max same as my lay 0-0 bot - £75 up in 5 days
I am looking at doing this but also with selections ...that way limit loss

@dave-jessop Yes, I think I am only going to do strategies that use in play stats or pre match selections using stats software (or ideally both), otherwise we are essentially just playing the efficient betfair markets without an edge and I just can't see how we can really make a profit in the longterm! I am more than happy to be proved wrong on this however and don't pretend I am know for certain on this matter! (same with Horses and Dogs for that matter).
I'm currently working my way down the list of Cids strategies (that use IPT) from http://www.comprebot.com.br/ , clicking the youtube link to then recreate it manually, then once I've done them all I will just run them all at micro stakes for a couple of weeks and then see which ones I like, fine tune them with my own criteria/stakes etc and then look to narrow down matches for these strategies further using the stats software.
Just need to learn how to import those selections into BFBM next so that they are then used by only the appropriate strategy! I'm thinking some kind of hijacking of the tipster system where I can label each set of matches from the stats software with the specific strategy name as the "tipster", then in BFBM get each strategy to only bet on matches from that "tipster". Not sure if that will work but seems to be a plausible way around it potentially!

Anyone have any experience with markets not settling for some strategies?!
Ran one of Cid's yesterday, "Next Goal Favourite" and while it seemed to work pretty well, (9/11) and settled fine with Betfair when I checked there, it only seems to have settled one bet in BFBM which is pretty strange?! -

How do you find the simulation of the strategies? I find the simulation gets favourable fills in comparison to live market movements. This is making it difficult to fully assess strategy potential. I am actually yet to try the software live so any insight would be great appreciated.

Really interesting I find this.Did lose all my winning lol with the dogs etc and gave this a miss since then but I am sure you guys can discover a way for the BF bot can make long term profits

For these football bots guys do you need to pay for anything extra to get the inplay data for them to work?

I do wonder how many selections it will find as with IPT stats it does seem to have quite a strict selection criteria including if I understood the settings properly, also requires the pre match fave to have been between 1.2-1.5?!104 bets so far - doesn't use IPT stats - that price range is for the 0.5 full time but - my one is the 0.5 fist half goals so odds range is 1.98-2.06
IIRC the over 0.5 FT uses tips from a site he uses but I left that bit out and using all games that fit the criteria - it is also an 4 game acca

Ah ok, looks like there's quite a difference between some of hit FH bots! The one I've just made is the one from his most recent video "Over 0.5 HT (ROI + 7.5% over the last 3 months) - ". It does seem to have quite strict criteria such as pre match fave 1.2-1.5, and appears to place the bets between 1.3-1.75, as long as some IPT stats are met. I might have to tinker with this a bit, including lowering the inplay stats requirements as it hasn't picked up many games as of yet, but I guess quality over quantity!
I do think these IPT stats could be a gamechanger as not only allow us to completely automate some of our tried and tested pre selected statistical strats (eg ryans o1.5/Martin's LTD etc) and ensure the game is lively before getting involved, but also once we are more comfortable with this software will enable us to just set up loads of other strategies that will just monitor all games inplay and fire when whichever required criteria are met (shots, attacks, price etc) regardless of whether we highlighted the game pre kick off.
