Does anyone know if Betfair Exchange has changed their backing procedure for some reason? I can change the lay odds up and down as usual but the back odds seem to be set at what they are at the moment. In other words I don’t seem to have the ability to ‘stage’ my entry into the market as the odds increase and I have to settle for what the odds are at this minute?
I now realise it's all about the 'Match Me' toggle switch...I'll get my coat!

@Akiva-Anderson I'm a slot in till the end of the season type of guy....
Mainly due to the fact if you look at the xG till Konate stood on rakes everywhere 73 mins onwards was avg 0.4!

@Martin You gotta stay away from Liverpool at the moment guys.....
Just back the team they are playing to score first. You can get Leeds +0.5 on the Asian Handicap..... at a whopping 2.06....
Meaning if Leeds draw or win you win.
Liverpool win (unlikely) you lose....How mental is that!

@Greg-Mitchell if its not within your parameters in terms of what suits your risk/reward approach, then you can completely ignore it. Personally, I don't track anything in the match odds market with anything above 5.0 on the lay side (home, draw and away win) because I know I'm not comfortable laying above those odds, and backing above those odds wouldn't provide a high enough strike rate for me. So I just leave them out!

@Greg-Mitchell I don't track them purely because I wouldn't ever take that price, so it's just another admin job for the sake of it. It would effect strike rate of the strategy at all odds but you wouldn't know that unless you tracked it. So your strike rate will be the same on what you are tracking.
