@craig-vaulks weekly updates make sense, it was frustrating at the weekend with the downtime wasn't it!
-
I will try to do a weekly recap of my progress and a monthly update of my results.
So this week so far has been mixed the betfair exchange going down did not help either. However still staying consistent with the strategies following the plan.I have started automation something I know little about but another advantage of being here is you don't need that much knowledge of it, to get started. I have used simulation mode to test ryans split stake which has all gone to plan fine.
I will now start using this as my 1st automation strategy using 1% of my bank.I also plan on keeping a record of a new strategy I am starting this week which I will paper trade for the next couple of months.

@ryan Thanks ryan, yeah I've enjoyed doing LTD, it has nice high strike rate plus not risking your full stake each time.
There's definitely plenty of opportunities online these days if your willing to put the effort in. I see youtube as a investment, evergreen content like tutorials, health and travel can continue to make a income long after you post the content. Plus they can be automated if you earn enough.
Half my problem was trying to many things thinking it was a better option.
Going to knuckle down now on these 2 methods and see where I am at the end of the year. -
This is wicked!
Great to see my LTD as well performing well for you, that always makes me laugh that the naysayers laugh about LTD - BUT they are usually the ones selling scalping courses.
As long as footie is always decided on goals it'll always work Speaking from experience here too
Great news on the YT front, seeing a lot of people do well on there and then building their email lists and selling other stuff its great this world we live in.

@martin I would imagine a fair few, I needed to take a couple months break because I could see myself developing bad habits. Fortunately I'm pretty stubborn, not one to give up once I have a goal I will keep going untill I find a way.

@martin cheers Martin, yeah think it's common for a lot of matched bettors to get drawn into that content then try it themselves. I think you have said before it's a tough way to start trading. For me personally aswell found it very boring after a while just sitting for hours staring at the ladder and a graph.
Such a shame, wonder how many potentially profitable traders quit because they get encouraged that that is a good way to make money as a new trader.

@andrew-dobinson hi andrew it's a simple tech tutorial channel. Usually 1 or 2 minute videos showing people how to delete facebook twitter etc. It now only takes me around 15-20 mins per video from start to finish.
-
Whatβs your YouTube channel about mate? Thats a lot of videos per month!

@john-folan yes caan was one , I've not seen much of the badger, I think I heard a few people on twitter etc talk about him, didn't get the greatest endorsement from what remember
Out of courtesy to Martin who doesnβt like bad mouthing other providers I shall refrain from saying what I think of them. The Badger in particular. Iβve got some cracking stories though. Some people have a bit of nerve.

@craig-vaulks good work, really like this post and your goals for the future, shame you had to go through those pre-race courses before you got here, seems a lot of people get steered in that direction.

@john-folan cheers John yes the kiss one is definitely something I should also stick too.

Not really a strange title. I live by something similar. Patience, Perseverance and Persistence.
The other one is KISS(Keep It Simple Stupid).
I look forward to seeing how you get on.
