@Craig-vaulks that's really good well done mate!
-
@Craig-vaulks how's your FHG one going?

As it has been a little while since updating my progress on here thought I would give a little update.
My current strategies I am using are in play tennis trading which I enjoy but having the time to invest to trade regularly is proving difficult which is frustrating at times as I can see it can make decent returns when I have the time.
I have also enjoyed exploring the different football strats, it's been a little easier timings wise to trade.
So I currently have a few set and forget strats set up my own FHG, Tomasz Lays, and I have started testing the lay away strat for now.
I also have a few in play strats that I use when I can which are home and away comebacks and also LTD.
I have started setting up a new filter for backing the draw which I will start testing in over the next few months.
I am also looking into a potential filter to find games with SHG'S which will involve some in play trading.
So overall happy with the progress I am making, just need to keep chipping away and building my bank to decent level. -
@Craig-vaulks It was one of the things that really helped me learn the game as well
-
@Craig-vaulks I would start adding to your notes the players that you think are good on the surfaces, that's been a little win for me as they usually adapt to the new surface, there's some players who love clay and they can be on a run of bad form coming into the clay and you'll get some value on them

Update for June.
I have had a little break from trading around mid June, although did keep an eye on tennis results after roland garros and think it was the right choice. When players change surface it can be a little bit more unreliable in the early days. Will start trading more tennis in the coming weeks with wimbledon coming up.
I have also noticed with the football trading, it may be wise to avoid trading especially set and forgets between mid may to mid june.
Had a really poor few weeks in june especially with my FHG strat. Thought I was going to have have my 1st losing month of the year so far. The in play tennis trading kept it from being much bigger.
However this weekend I had a big turnaround almost every trade has gone in my favour. I was really happy with yesterday hit 10 out of 10 trades. 7 where my FHG set and forget and I also had a couple of in play comebacks and 1 LTD.
So overall very pleased with the results for the month so far my in play tennis has been going very well around 6 points up for the month but that was only for the 1st week in june.
Football trading started poorly but ended well after the weekends results I am now around 12 points up in total.
Looking forward to trading more football in play with my home and away comeback and also LTD home and away filters. As I can see they have good potential when more selections are available. -
@Craig-vaulks thanks for the update sounds very positive!

Recap for may trading.
It has been a quiet month trading football. My set and forget strategies have not done too well most have made a small loss. My FHG strat performed ok although had a bit of a dip mid way through the month.
My in play trading has been decent making profit on tennis and laying the draw, with a small loss trading the home and away comebacks.
So overall I am around 10 points up so can't complain. Will be mainly concentrating on tennis for the next couple of months with a small amount of football trading. -
@Martin trading the tennis in play has been going well just struggle to get the time to do as much as I would like. It has been handy having football as a alternative. Really enjoying the football trading hoping to develop my own in play LTD strat and improve my home and away comeback trading. I can see they both have good potential just need to keep working on them, probably over staked a little at 1st but made a few adjustments and now making good progress. I am slowly starting to find which strategies I think I am going to use long term.

@Craig-vaulks thansk for the update how has the inplay been going?
-
Another update on my progress, it has been a quiet week or so with the set and forget strats aside from my FHG strat there has not been that many selections. I have also avoided some that have come up on the filter for the winter leagues, unless they both have something to play for. I am also going to try out martins lay over 3.5 goals set and forget to see how goes.
So not much to report on those aside from my FHG strat is still doing ok apart from a slight dip in the last couple of days.
So my main focus has been trading tennis and football in play due to work and kids I have not done as much tennis trading as I would like but enjoyed the few trades I have managed to fit in.
I have set up a simple LTD filter for both strong home and away teams, similar to martins in play comeback filter which looks promising so going to concentrate on these 2 strategies see how I get on but so far I have been enjoying trading these 2 sports in play.
So my main aim in the coming months will be to improve and learn more about trading football in play and remain disciplined trading tennis. -
@Craig-vaulks defo some strategies have been effected by end of season, weirdly some that I expected to struggle like laying over 3.5 goals have been great! I think it needs to be taken on a strategy by strategy basis moving forward.
-
This week has been pretty good, although 2 of my 3 set and forget strategies have not performed to well, maybe due to it being the end of season for the winter leagues. Something I will probably need to take into account next time around.
My FHG strategy seems to still be ticking along nicely regardless, aside from a small dip, just as I increased my stakes (I'm sure it was just a test) I hit 4 game losing streak however shortly after I had 16 winners in a row so can't complain. It has given me a nice return in the last 10 days.
I have also started dipping my toes into trading football inplay (mainly backing the comeback if a team goes a goal or 2 behind) and also continuing with my tennis trading in play which is going well when the timings allow me to trade.
After almost 2 years of trading it is finally starting to feel like I am now turning a corner, I've always had the belief I could do ok trading sports, but actually doing it is not so easy.
I think finding the right sports and strategies that suit my trading style is key along with having very disciplined approach to my staking levels. -
@craig-vaulks amazing stuff!

My monthly update for april.
Not my best month for productivity, work and family life have made it difficult to get as much done as I would like. However still happy with the progress I am making.
3 months making profit trading is certainly a big milestone for me.
I am currently using Ryans LTD, Tomasz 1.5 goals, Ryans split stake and martins over 1.5 goals. I am thinking of dropping the split stake for now at least, as I think I need to spend more time researching the matches to get the best out of it.
Plus I am wanting to concentrate on developing my own strategies. I currently have a FHG strat that has performed very well so far, and have now started paper testing backing over 1.5 and 2.5 goals with a similar idea.
Throw in, in play tennis trading and learning in play football trading my time is certainly being stretched.
This is probably partly why my youtube content making has taken a hit this month.
I think managing my time better needs to be my target for next month. I am now happy with all the strategies I have in place which are 3 set and forget strats (Tomasz & martins 1.5 goals and my FHG) plus 3 In play strats (2 football and 1 tennis). I plan on concentrating on these for a good while now.
So results for aprilYoutube videos- 11
Ltd- 17 trades £13.53 profit.
Martins 1.5s- 55 trades £31.22 profit
Ryans split- 20 trades -£5.37 loss
Tomasz- 56 trades -£0.78 loss
My FHG- 109 trades £73.23 profit
Inplay tennis 6 trades £10.98 Profit
In play football 1 trade £4.46 profitTotal £127.27 profit.

Another week making progress on the trading front. Youtube not so much this month so far.
So currently I have 5 football strategies that I am happy with they seem to compliment each other well if 1 or 2 are on a downturn the others seem to make up for it.
Really happy with my own FHG strategy has hit 10 points profit this week and continues to perform well, keep expecting a bad run to hit at some point.
I have started paper testing a over 2.5 goal set and forget strat with a similar template to my FHG strat so will see how that gets on in the coming weeks and months.
I have also started trading tennis in play which is going to be my most difficult challenge to keep in check, but i am determined to do so.
Over staked in 1 match, which I was not happy with but overall have kept my discipline aside from this 1 blip. Taking advice from ryan in terms of making notes after each trade and also rating them.
Due to working shifts trading tennis will be difficult so may only get a chance every other week depending on the timings of matches.
So I will be learning more about trading football in play if no tennis is available.
So lots going on trading wise, expecting a busy few months ahead as I hope I can get settled using these methods long term and continue to improve. -
@craig-vaulks great to hear this, sounds like the trading is going very well, keep up the good work!
