Hello, do we have some details for those two strategies? Are profitable? Someone to track them?

Also i found this strategy, someone here understand the philosophy and the conditions to create it?

    Hostworld

@Dan-MacKinnon and @Daniel-Mills We need to speak next days in order to find the way to set up everything through VPS. I think that i need some help.

    I have another important question.
Many times we have in the same race Back strategy and Lay strategy?
What do i need to do in this case?
Exist a way how to activate 2 different automated strategies on fairbot for the same race or we need to avoid this race and choose only one strategy?

Thanks in Advance and Happy new year to all of you guys.

@fraser-cord very similar story to me and agree its the way forward! i have only been using the bots for 3 days and its much better and can free up ur own time if want to just leave them and let them run etc. fairbot i have found is really easy to use ( once i got over the innital couple of bits i was doing wrong as complete novice) everyones brill on here and there to help. give it a whirl im sure i wont be looking back now. gonna look into vps soon so can do it all in mornings before work and not have to leave the computer on etc. I am just doing it on pc at the min so can monitor it when im home while off work. andy

Hi all. I've set my xmas holidays to try and get up and going with horse racing trading. Needless to say it began badly on boxing day and confidence got firmly kicked. But been looking since and its clearly profitable but I think the only way to maximise it is through a bot (as i'm hearing everyone saying). Need to take the thought out of it.
I totally get trading but clueless with software development etc. I'm drawn to fairbot as its cheaper and get a free trial. Does anyone know if the free trial is fully functional so i can have a play for the next 2 weeks while off work to see if I can master it?

Hugely appreciate folk posting their bots on here

I’ll update the OP with the latest bots people have posted. Are there any others we want to include?

Also, don’t worry, I think we’re all new to Fairbot! The great thing about BTC is you can ask questions and try to figure it out together

A while ago I remember there was a discussion about 2 bots for late goals (the after 74 minute bot is in the pinned post)

I had a go building both of these to better my understanding but do you know if there was a filter in the football stats for this as I'd like to test these and see if they work

@panagiotis unfortunately you can’t save them and log out. I think that’s true for all bot software.

You can get a VPS and remote into it. Set up Fairbot and do your trading on that and the VPS will keep running. There’s a few options out there and it’s not too expensive, just make sure it’s in a country that uses Betfair

    @dan-mackinnon Good Morning.

I have a question. Im ready to set up my strategies for today BUT i noticed that if i will log out from fairbot my strategies are not saved and when i will log in again need to set up again.

Do you know how to save my automation strategies and remain active even i will log out?

Look here. The BTC says to Back at price 2-7 the coupdebol. Is not there yet but from where, how the strategy will understand that we need to back this horse 10 minutes before start the race?

Ok. So the selection is “unknown” so you have to select the particular horse. This will only place a trade on that horse.

You’ll need to do the same with the conditions because that tells the bot to only place a trade if those conditions are met

@panagiotis I think someone answered this further down.

When you set up a bot I tend to use the selection “At Runtime”. Once you’ve selected your strategy/ bot it’ll say “unknown” but you can click that and it’ll give you a drop-down list of the horses for you to pick from. Remember that you can only apply a bot to the market you’re currently looking at.

Hopefully that helps but let me know if you want more help and I’ll add photos tomorrow

@dan-mackinnon My question is, how the fairbot strategy will understand which Horse to back or Lay?
Except the case that we said Back the position 1 horse.

What we need to do in order to automate the selections from BTC?
