    would something like this work?

    0_1670011309981_75abc486-b6ed-479e-9559-6bb2c04bb534-image.png

it would allow you to select the horse in the section A and then compare it to the best backed horse which should be the favourite and then your selection would have to have greater odds than the fav

edit, learnt a new lesson, build rules in simulation so as not to place an bets in error.....doh

Does anyone know if there’s a condition to stop it from selecting a horse that has become the favourite?

    @kevin-pepper thanks for the reply

still seem to be having an issue but I'm wondering if it's a glitch

The rule was loaded from the file that you added to the Horse racing thread and works when I use anything else in the Selection B drop down but as soon as a I use "At Runtime" it throws out the error. Could also be an issue with the trial software I guess

Using 2 applications worked fine when I tested it this afternoon, but I think the suggestion made by Dan around having one superbot would be a far simpler solution, so I think I'll look at creating one of these soon

    1 - I don't think it's possible
2 - I agree with Dan. Depending on the strategies you'll need to ensure there's no conflict in the combined Rules
3 - sounds like an issue with the way the rule has been setup. Here's a screenshot of the rule...

@dan-mackinnon super bot sounds interesting, but possibly advanced for my third day of the trial software!

Multiple applications came about through necessity as one race today showed up on 2 strategies and I couldn't figure out how to add multiple automation to the same market

Really enjoying learning about the automation side of things and really helps to get more of an understanding about the strategies but do wish there were a few more tutorials as so far it's mainly been this forum and YouTube

@steven-fletcher I don't know the answers to your questions unfortunately but would be interested to find out.

2 - I never thought of opening multiple versions of Fairbot, I just assumed you could only do it once. What I've done is create a "super bot" which has all my strategies in one and then I just select which ones are applicable.

So I've been reading this thread for a while and it has been a really useful source of information.

I did have a couple of questions though I couldn't see answered and apologies if these have been covered elsewhere

1 - Is it possible to import your selections into Fairbot in someway so you can prepopulate your market list with the selection download in some way to make it quicker?

2 - Is the only way to run multiple strategies to open multiple versions of Fairbot. These seems to be the work around (as long as I limit the amount of data requests as per the warning) but I was wondering if there were other ways around this

3 - This is specific to the discussion of the pace lay automation in the horse racing thread.
An update was made to the automation to limit the difference between the back odds and the lay odds.

I can see from the screens that the rule is attempting to check the back and lay but when I tried using this I was unable to click into the second condition window, instead of unknown it appears to be giving code.......is this a quirk of the software or is something wrong with the rule?

i was surprised how much cheaper Fairbot was than having to subscribe to Bet Angel Professional (which is the only level in BA you can do Automation)

Stupid question not got my head round automation yet but if you set a bot running do you need to leave pc on and logged into Fairbot?

You can get a VPS which runs Fairbot and you remote access it. That's what I use and there's a couple of suggestions on the HR forum. I use Time4VPS and I know Adam has EUKHost

One of the interesting things about Fairbot is that if you have a time related BOT about to kick in, it highlights which one and does a count-down of the timing.

@dan-mackinnon Just wanted to say thanks Dan. Tried your BOT for first time today and it worked well.
Looking forward to using it from now on

Glad it worked. I think this has been a proper BTC project though. I didn't really know how to make a bot so was good for me, Martin exposed the suspended market issue, Kevin has added his expertise with liability, etc. and now you've tested it!

OK, got another on the filter for tonight....Helmond v De Graapschap...so...going all in.......£2 lay 🙂

@dan-mackinnon so if we are laying a scoreline maybe max odds to lay of 2.2? Similar to 1.8 backing
