Hi, I’m having an issue on a couple of strategies (one, football and one tennis) where I’m trying to trade based on the current score. I’ve got it set up and it works fine but then the odd game will say condition error: live score unavailable (or something similar) in red under my automation rule. The trade won’t get placed. I don’t know why this happens as it is on some big markets like Man City v Wolves today and Aus Open tennis. Has anyone else had this problem? I can’t seem to see a pattern to why it is fine on some games and not others.

Can someone please have a look at this and tell me what I have done wrong as it will select the correct market ok but places multiple bets on that market instead of the single bet that I want to place.
    0_1674344924802_SHG upto 3.5.fs

PS I am only running it in simulation mode

looking at the rule it seems like the logic is fine as the execution conditions should stop multiple re-entries.

If set it up on Sim Mode to have a look if i get the same results

@Terry-Heller ran your strategy and it worked as expected.....entered the second half with a single stake in four games (1 didn't match)

2 games saw a second half goal and the bot didnt re-enter

Maybe an issue with the simulation mode?

Thankyou Steven it could well be just a problem with simulation mode. It placed the bet I wanted on all the games that I had selected.....just 4 times on each and i wouldnt want to burn money 4 times as fast!
I will have to re run it tomorrow on one game in 'live mode' and see how that goes.
I still have plenty of time left on the free trial to make sure that it will do what i hoped it would.
Your reply has given me more confidence so once again many thanks

@lee-brown more than happy to help. I've set up a few Fairbot strategies for events with lower liquidity based on offering prices earlier in the hope they're taken but then taking best available nearer the start if the earlier bet was unmatched. DM me if you want any specific help.
    Cheers K

@kevin-pepper To add, the footy ones are pretty straight forward to enter in the morning, but I like to sort things early doors before work, so as an example theres a Dan LTD pick in South Africa today, which has back at 5.2 and lay at 5.6, so a bit of a gap with liquidity low and not a mainstream league. Automation with these types are good rather than entering at 5.3 and it drifts and doesn't match. Setting these for X min pre KO would be a nice to have!! Appreciate I'm not adding much value here but (if allowed) more than happy to send a nice bottle of something to anyone that is able to assist with set up if I'm struggling!!

Thanks Kevin - have a great day bud.

@kevin-pepper Cheers for the quick reply.

In terms of Horses, those 6 look great from the P/L sheets and happy to start with them

Football - Tomasz Lay u1.5 looks like the only strat on the P/L sheet, that is also available as a file to upload to Fairbot. That being said, this is a minefield of info and as mentioned, I'm new, so may be available elsewhere.

I'm away from home until Friday so won't get anything done until then. The football picks I could do in the meantime, manually, however the nags with the set odds ranges and amount of picks, defo seems like an automation job!!

I'll spend this week checking some videos out and reading through the forums to find my way around, but super keen to get some traction on automated Strats when home and can then upload picks via VPS when all sorted. I'm away a lot so easier to add the Strats on the VPS laptop then jump in each morning once exported the picks. Busy life like most!!! Automation is fantastic once up and running smoothly. I work in cyber security but for some reason struggle getting all this set up and working properly!!

@lee-brown Hi Lee, you do have to set up the markets you want automation applied for. It typically takes a few minutes a day for me to set up the day's racing.
I know Sergey at Fairbot does have plans to add some form of automated selection of markets based on the current Market Selector functionality.
As regards the spreadsheet, are there any particular strategies you're interested in?
    Cheers
    Kevin

@dan-mackinnon Thanks for setting these files up. Currently I use BFMB for automation on a few systems Football related. That being said, I find it pretty difficult and have managed to get only 3/8 I have set up properly and firing away.

With regards to Fairbot, I'm looking to get some of the above systems set up using that, in the hope that its a bit more straight forward.

    A couple of questions;

    • With regards to the files, do they fire the bets off automatically, or is it required to enter the daily selections manually ?
    • The results spreadsheet below, has a few Footy systems that aren't on this thread. Are there any plans to add these at all? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NTpTekGxMYNfns6NmyxF9Zyvox3vQn2SCYWDOXu6hXM/edit#gid=1007859588

Thanks in advance, new here and theres a lot going on!! Looks great and thanks to everyone for input here on automation. Sure it's something a lot of people are looking to have in their busy lifes!!

@steven-fletcher Hi Steve I do understand about assigning different strategies to different markets .
what I was trying to ask was about assigning two different strategies on the same market for example the O1.5 in one match.

Perhaps an example might be a match between Burnley and West Brom Having Ryans split stake strategy set on the O1.5 and also having that selection as part of a SHG strategy that might need to use that market at the same time.

Sorry if I am not making it clear

Sorry Terry, i misunderstood the question with the mention of the strategies

While you can only apply 1 automation rule at a time I've found three work arounds so far for this

    1. Open more than one copy of the software. This is probably the easiest way. When you do this you get the message explaining that if you exceed 20 data requests per second you could incur data charges. If you go this route you need to update your settings.....in theory you could have 20 copies open as long as the data requests were limited to 1 per second. In practice i often have 3 copies open and have my data requests set to max of 4 per second.....if you need screens of this i can help with some of these later

    2. you can have a rule set up to open in a different market to the one which the rule is set on.....this doesnt work for all markets but is useful for the main ones.......

    0_1674238363952_3bed3d62-1b9f-4cdf-8208-1b0a1f6ac055-image.png

In my rule for second half goals the markets are specified to enter the overs market so these fire even though the rule is set up on the correct score market as below

    0_1674238469769_9b5b5786-c3fe-4630-8998-e3da11a83e45-image.png

    1. the third way to do it would be to copy and paste more than one rule into a super rule. This would probably be best on fairly simple rules

Here is an example is use on the horse racing win market that allows me to place both the Beaten Favourite and Pace Lays as an example

How about running two Automations on the same market?
For example, Is it possible to run "Second Half Goal.fs" and "two Ryan's Over 1.5 Goals Split Stake.fs" at the same market"Over 1.5 Goals"?

I would like to know that as well please

There should be no issues running these together as the do not both work on the same market. Within the number of markets in a football game Ryan's Split stake works on the over under 1.5 goals and typically if the SHG is a lay automation this will be run on the correct score market
