@fraser-cord Hi Fraser, I found an issue when running it so have altered it slightly and am trying it in simulation mode, just needs some games to be 0-0 at 30 mins now to try it out
Cheers @Ian-Wylie . Yeh I set it at 27 mins and as soon as it hit 30, the error came up. Was set on Over/Under 1.5 market and game was 0-0.
-
@fraser-cord is that what it shows when you load it on a live over 1.5 market?
The lack of score will be the case before the live score data comes in.
Do you get the same errors with this file

@fraser-cord Hi Fraser,
I've just downloaded it and tried it on the O1.5 market and it appears to be ok - screenshot below.

Hi all
Can someone help with the setup of Ryan's Over 1.5 split stake please.
Ive downloaded the bot above and made no edits to it other than stake, but anytime I try to run i get the error message. Ive tried it on O1.5 goals market and correct score market and its the same. I maybe have it on the wrong market or i need to make some tweeks?
Also the back 'unknown' does not allow me to click on it to change and select a market.
Thanks in advance

@fraser-cord As the data is in Fairbot they may be able to add this as a condition in future
Having 2 rules set up is a quick enough solution so you can exclude any that are could be fav at the off.
-
@steven-fletcher Thanks, il look into it. I was just going to check manually and exclude races based on how likely the fav being over 9, but this sounds a better idea.
-
@fraser-cord not 100% automated but you could do it with a workaround to manually exclude certain horses....You could set a condition that the favourite's odds would need to be lower than a horse "at runtime"
then if you hover over the horse on Fairbot it shows the age and then just exclude any you dont want to trigger the rule
Just did it for tomorrow, only 3 races feature horses you'd want to exclude, probably not likely to be favourite but easy enough to exclude
-
Hi all.
Reckon i know the answer to this having looked through the conditions, can you create a rule on fairbot that limits selections based on a horses age? Nothing jumping out which suggests not?
Just seen Martins most recent video on Back the Fav where limiting the age range appears to improve the results.

@steven-fletcher Ah! That's what happened! Just checked, and yup, "unmatched".

@ian-wylie @Stephen-Beale you guys must be the lucky ones because I just checked mine and it fired fine...unfortunately!
Mine fired and lost too!
@Stephen-Beale you could check on Betfair to see if the lay was placed and cancelled. It may have been the price shortened and the bet didnt match and was then cancelled

Fairbot User manual.
Thought this might be useful for some people...
Thanks for that, I looked online but couldn't find it. Think it will be very useful.

@ian-wylie Oh noooo!! I realised how lucky I was, but then twigged that a bunch of other BTC members wouldn't be in the same boat as me, and felt bad for posting my question. Such a rollercoaster of emotions lol
Thanks for your reply though, suspended market would add up, yeah:thumbs_up:

Anyone have an idea what might have happened here?
Fairbot says it fired, but it didn't actually place the bet. Might be outside the odds range I guess, but then it wouldn't have fired..
(I'm not complaining btw - that horse went on to win, so quite a lucky mistake)
Hi Stephen, the exact same thing happened to me as well in that race. Unfortunately however, as I'm working from home today, I had Fairbot open and just happened to glance at it just after the race started and noticed that the lay hadn't been placed so I thought I would be smart and place it myself! To make matters worse, I normally have Liability ticked for lay bets but not on this occasion. By the time I realised this I was well in the red.
Not sure why the bot didn't place the trade, maybe the market was suspended at the time?

@steven-fletcher Ahhhhh, right, I was wondering what the difference was between the two, that clears it up. Nice one, cheers!!
-
@stephen-beale if it helps the "% of Bank" staking option does not apply current exposure unlike the "% of Balance.
Be nice if you could set a bank or banks for different staking though.....maybe in a future release
-
@dan-mackinnon Ahhh, that's a shame. Thanks tho!!
