@kevin-pepper Thanks for that.
@Martin what's your thoughts? I could see about changing the criteria to lay at best back odds +1 tick if the back odds are equal or greater than 1.8. Does that work for your strategy?
Do you also want a minimum liquidity condition added?

@Dan-MacKinnon can you upload the late goal bot to the OP?
0_1668413525843_LCS at 74min Only (Rev A).fs
Here's the amended version, and I've also uploaded it to the OP.
I've added minimum odds on the lay side to be greater or equal to 1.8.
I've also added a condition that the market state has to active. I believe this means if the market is suspended it won't place a bet. Hopefully that works on the incident you had.
I could add another rule for goals over 3-1, etc. but to be honest it's quite time consuming amending all the correct scores I currently have and don't want to start messing about with others (just because it's easy to accidentally put 1 thing wrong and throw everything off). I also imagine it's quite unlikely you'll have that high a scoring first half that it'll be a consistent problem.
@Kevin-Pepper do you mind having a look when you get a chance and let me know if what I've done seems reasonable? Or if you have any suggestions from Martin's video?
Hi Dan
The bot seems reasonable but I'd suggest you look at how you place your lay bet. You have set it to trigger if the best lay price is >1.8 but there's no check for an upper amount.
So, say you have a CS market with low liquidity, you could have a best back price of 1.8 and the best lay price is 2.0. Would you want to then lay at 2.0? I'd be more inclined to lay at say 1.81? Worst case you could be laying at much more than 2.0 as there's no check that the best lay price isn't below say 2.0.To help explain, there's a game on now at the point the bot would trigger and if I'm getting it right you'll lay 1-1 at 2.28 but the best back price is 2.04. It might be that you wouldn't trade a game with such low liquidity (just £1281 matched) or actually you could add a Condition to check for a minimum amount traded on the market?
Hope that helps. I haven't updated your strategy as we will all have our preferred approach but I'm happy to do an update if there's a 'house' approach (I've not had a chance to check out the video properly)
Kevin

@greg-mitchell Hi Greg, I think you will still need the Windows emulation software like Wine or equivalent. Check the BTC Youtube channel as I'm sure that Ryan did a video on using Fairbot on a Mac a while back.
I run Fairbot on Linux via Wine and only encounter an odd issue now and then but that might be caused by my laptop being over 11 years old now!

Currently using Bet Angel via VPS as I am a Mac user, can you use Fairbot directly on a Mac or do you still need some Windows emulation software?

@dan-mackinnon got one fire at 1.6x may need to get a min odds put in, is that possible?
What do you want the minimum odds to be?
I'm going to work on a bot for your pace lays as well.
did you watch my video from last night? one issue I had was it placing the bet after a goal went in on 76 mins (market would have been suspended as it was a pen) any way artound this?
I haven't but I'll do it later. I'm currently up in Birmingham for the weekend so probably won't be able to make any changes until Monday.
I think you can put it in the "conditions" to have the market state as active.

I've made a bot for Martin's Pace Lays and put up a post about some amends I've made. Any feedback/ FB advice is always welcome!

@martin oh right. It is possible to put conditions in so I can adjust that
Other 3 worked great, had to do Inter manually as it was 5-1 at the time but the goal came so was worth it. Seems a solid bot, thanks!

@martin I’ll have to check but I believe so. You can double check by going to your watchlist and see if the game is there and your proposed strategy.
If you have time and know when you expect the bot to fire you can watch the trades tab and it should give you the details there
-
@dan-mackinnon was a good trade that as that game was a combo pick of mine which strike at 60% goal after 74 mins, can't account for missed pens I also had over 4.5 on that one! Mind you over 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 won so can't really complain
-
@Dan-MacKinnon Dan, one of the things i have found to be tiresome with Fairbot is assigning a strategy to multiple markets in the Watch List, as when you change the 'Name' option to be the team, then it changes it for all the Markets in the list you have assigned that strategy for... in other words...
Put Eng v IRE in market list - assign Strategy A changing the Names to ENG and IRE then put PAK v NED in Market list and assign Strategy A chaning the names to PAK and NED only to find that its put PAK and NED in the ENG market too !
No doubt you'll tell me thats not the way to do it.! -

@Martin this is my attempt at the 74 min late goal. It's using the Correct Score market
0_1666770302979_LCS at 74min Only.fsI tested this one on the Croatian game. Good news, it worked! Bad news, they missed a penalty in injury time so no late goal. Got matched at odds of 2.0
