@joseph-henderson imagine there are much cheaper options!
-
I am considering getting a VPS for my automation via BFBot Manager. Does anyone have any recommendations? BFBot Manager recommends Simply Hosting, and the SVS3000, which is £40.99 per month (excluding VAT). Is this the going rate or are there cheaper options that work fine. Thanks

@ryan I am using Market Feeder Pro as my bot for automation. Any chance of getting this one set up to automate the bets?
Do they have some kind of API, or a way of importing qualifiers from a URL?
-
@nicholas-koumpan in terms of what matey? You want it adding to the doc? Not 100% sure what you are asking? (probs me being thick!)
-
@karl-pick had to keep it simple for myself!
-
@michael-madigan Wicked, I've heard a lot about Bet Angel being good for automation!
-
Hey guys, exciting news - I've got this Fairbot affiliate code, feel free to...

Fairbot from what I can see is bloody useless.
Oh never mind :face_with_tears_of_joy:

@ryan Nice one Ryan. I use Bet Angel automation quite a lot. Usually to put trades on after 15 mins when the odds have improved and met whatever my criteria is. I keep the automation firing for 5 mins until it meets the criteria or not. Got to make sure it only accepts one bet though and then stops or you'll get loads of bets firing into the market!!!

Thank you all it is appreciated...now the Fun begins, I have seen Ryan has done a simple guide for old folk, so hopefully it will be a breeze!

than k you! @john-folan

@kevin-pepper top man thank you!!!
-
@david-milligan I'll grab that then! Thank you

ADVISE PLEASE....So I have been looking at Automation, but worried about someone else having my money, but I am gonna take the plunge!!
Can I ask you Long Term users just from your experiences, Which of the BIG three is the best for Horse Racing?
And Which membership would you recommend as there is different levels.Hopefully thanks!!
Bet Angel is best for fast trading and inrunning.
BFBM is best for the strategies we have on here and the most flexible rules wise. Also the individual banks for each strategy is great.
Fairbot from what I can see is bloody useless.Get free trials on all of them is the best advice I can give.
-
I'm with Fairbot and it pretty much serves my needs. I've not used BFBM or Betangel so can't comment though from what I've seen on here and elsewhere, I'd choose BFBM of the 2.
Setting up multiple events and strategies on Fairbot can be a bit of a pain but I guess that can help you stick to trying to nail just one strategy and prevent overtrading....
ps @Ryan , I've had a go at updating the Fairbot section of the doc below. However, it'd be handy if anyone with Fairbot experience can take a look and feel free to correct.
-
@karl-pick like Dan I'm currently a Fairbot user. I like it and the program is easy to use but once my sub comes up for renewal ill be taking a free trial of BFBM with a view of switching
For me the fact that you horse racing qualifiers will load automatically is massive and fingers crossed this happens with the football too. This would be worth the subscription alone
The other main thing i want that Fairbot doesn't currently offer is the option to have separate banks for different strategies.
Id suggest using the free trials of the various software and seeing how you get on but i imagine increasingly more and more people will move over to BFBM
-
@karl-pick +1 for BFBM
Started on Fairbot, moved over to BFBM - no regrets.
Plus it pulls in the horses automatically. No brainer!
-
@karl-pick what do you mean someone else having your money? Automation is a subscription but you still have full ownership/ responsibility of your trades.
I'm biased and will never buy any betangel stuff. I currently use Fairbot and am really happy with it. Had it for about 6 months and no issues. The customer service is really good, but it is limited in that you can only trade 1 bot per market, however, on the fairbot thread there are a few examples of how people have gotten around that.
However, I'm thinking of getting a month's subscription to BFBM when my current one nears the end. The reason is that I like to tinker with strategies and I think having separate banks for separate strategies will be easier to manage.
