@nick-allan would think they are the stake you inputted when creating the strategy, may be wrong
-
Quick question, on the cashflow part of the strategy builder are they results to £10 stakes?
-
@John-Folan Cracking stuff mate tweaking things as you go

Had a complete rework of my flat pace as I’m pretty sure I had over filtered a profitable set of base filters. I had. Massively. Going to forward test for a bit then repost.
Also the lay the beaten favourite I have been doing to a liability is working lovely. So will repost on the 1st of next month after 2 months solid live testing. I’m also looking at the 1.01 to 11 odds range for some Maria staking. I’ve downloaded all the individual results and will apply Maria staking to it on flat stakes and see what it looks like. If it worked for her hey?
I’ve also added in some Irish racing to my short odd lays as they continue their recovery from last month. Again will repost early next month.
Slow Horses is better in the winter but nice to see it is ticking along slowly in the summer months.

General question to all members ………………I notice there isn't a lot of DOB strategies that are shared and considering that it's the most popular back to lay Strategy I’m quite surprised. I know that John Forlan has a TROBS and DOBs spreadsheet that he very kindly shares in the BTC horses thread on the forum, but I just wonder if anyone was testing any DOB strategies and if they are doing well at all? And if they are doing well would they consider sharing them so I can test them myself?
Apart from Slow Horses I have struggled to get a decent dob/trob strategy going. I expect this to change once we get into speed ratings being added in the future. I’ve found basic laying the best thing here. The software has been great for that.
-
@nick-allan A problem is that although back testing might record that an inplay price has been reached. In reality that doesn't mean that you would have been matched and got out of your trade. Especially on higher priced runners and the more people trying to get out at the same "time and price" lowers the chances. Obviously all depends on the quality/liquidity of that market and your stake size.

@martin I had a thought about your back the favourite strategy- have you, or any of the other members, perhaps looked to trade the results as opposed to backing them? In particular I had an idea about perhaps trading them as Dobs? as opposed to backing them? One of the things that I've notice from a few that I've seen trading in play is that they might not have won but they've certainly halved in price in play. Has any members perhaps looked at dobbing this strategy?

Updated with results up until 15th September, removed some of the filters that did not prove profitable during forward testing, so if there are any you want just ask and I can send you the downloads for them.
yeah quite a few of the strategies that I've been testing didn't perform that well although I have very different results for the Wayne pace strategy but I think a lot of that to do with the time that the bet is place as I tend to do them in the morning when I think prices are better than perhaps BSP which might be when forward testing takes the price?

at the bottom of the results it breaks them down into monthly ones, scroll to the bottom after running the backtesting search
