@keith-driscoll Apologies if I come across a bit slow, but are you literally backing the leading horse in races at Chester and just letting it run?

@keith-driscoll Understood, it was the back the leader in running piece that I was trying to work out how to set the rule...

You can use L or Pace Ranking for that. You can't automate it, nor get qualifiers, as you have to back the actual leader in the race live. People overreact at the start, which is why you wait for the price to settle. You can get plenty of 50% leader DOB's, as major overreactions happen on the last corner. Technically, Chester only has one corner 😉

@keith-driscoll hi Keith, would you be willing to post the rules that generate the results you've shared?
    Thanks
    Kevin

I pretty much did supply all of them, apart from less than 16 runners, and nothing over 35 BSP (yes, you know the BSP before you bet)

Other courses have big edges, Epsom for one. 😉

In case anyone is wondering how well this performs, here is the by month report since 2016, which is a per meeting list. 🙂

Pretty much as close to a zero downside as you can get. Use TPD or Betfair feeds, not the TV.

A simple strategy of front-runners at Chester. Back the leader in-running. 13 Furlongs or less. Colt/Filly/Gelding only. Price less than 35. Let bets run, or take 50% if you want less risk (lower profits). Do not enter with 3f or less to go. Don't enter till at least 10 secs have passed, around 6f left is good.

I've been filling my boots with this for years.
