No in the actual results? I've noticed it a couple of times on a couple of strategies. Yo enter odds of say 3.5 as a minimum and you are getting some that had a bsp of 1.24 10 seconds later?
If you log it with the strategy name and horse name that you think has wrong data, I'll look into it. We don't have any open issues along those lines at the moment.
Done!

@john-folan not sure if compeltely related but I noticed when I was filtering my horses by odds the qualifiers were still showing horses outside of the odds range I selected, not sure if that is a bug in the software?
you need to send anything like that to support so they can check if it's an issue and correct it if so!

@adam perfect thanks mate
One bot. Also posted on the BFbot manager first post. I've included a list there of the courses. It also won't filter for 0 Handicap sadly.
0_1652179175679_Back Favourite at Specific Courses.gz
Note. Added runner number filter

Do you mean in your execution settings? Nothing you enter in the execution settings affects your upcoming qualifiers because the horses in those races could still move within your acceptable ranges.

I noticed that in the results as well. I looked at a Lay The Field using 1.5 so if a horse loses it should be -.5, however the results were showing 1.2-1.45 which then means the loss is less than it really is. That threw the profits out massively.
I know it'll common sense, but it's worth exporting the results going through them to make sure it does do what you would be doing rather than just taking the summary results.

@adam so this will be relevant to when the bet time is on the settings? So the fave can change between 1 min and 10 secs before the off and the data reflects this?
What is the frequency of time stamps in the database mate? Every second?Yes. Once per second

@john-folan that’s weird as when I grouped by horse handicap it seemed to suggest that filter made a difference
When you bot it mate please let me have a copyQuick question. The specific upcoming qualifiers the strategy throws up aren't right are they as we don't really know the favourite until near the off? Only asking for the bot.
Yeah I don’t think they will be right mate as my staking settings is for 10 secs before the off so all the history is based around that. That’s what the bot should be set to I think?
Couple of things.
- I can do an age filter on BFbot so that sorts that.
- Will take me a while to add all the courses. I can add what is showing on BFbot now, but going forward more will need to be added, as long as you are happy doing that yourself.
- I've set it up so it backs at 10 seconds out so your selections will match the software.
- I can't get around the handicap filter. You are bang on it does make a difference when you break it down by handicap. Seems virtually the same profit, but about 150 less races?

@adam sorry to hijack your thread, John and I have noticed that if we set a odds filter of say between 3- 10 as an example the qualifiers show us horses outside of that range, not sure if it is something I am doing wrong on the filtering? just wanted to make you aware

For the qualifiers, the favourite price is the horse with the lowest last traded price. Obviously this could change in the lead-up to the race.

Good, I thought so. I think I can get around this in BFBot easily enough.

@john-folan interesting it wasn't just me then, you stick a BSP filter in the rules themselves?
I did. I think I raised it with @Adam as well on Asana, but I couldn't swear to that

I had that too. So I stick in a BSP filter. It gets rid of them. Makes the output slightly less accurate but it's as near as dammit.
