Sounds sensible. I like a spread of strategies BUT I get them going one at a time. Separate banks for each as well. Massively important that. Then compound.
Ten seconds before official start. Impossible to know the actual until it’s running .

@john-folan or anyone else who can/is willing to help
I set up my trading bots over xmas, i went with fairbot as it seemed more folk were using it and there were more bots shared as i didnt know where to begin. However a few weeks later, many hours spent and im no further forward profit wise. I was spending so much time each day for little, hence the rain check. Although i accept the risk, the advice of spread your strategies to limit variance just isnt getting it done for me. That's been on the football for the past couple of months and now the horses too. All im finding is more time spent but little or in some cases much more profit gone.
So im thinking of changing plan. Im thinking of just picking a strategy and sticking with it, was just getting all muddled trying to follow many, taking so much time and results never matched the software hence my confidence goes. Feels a little bit like jack of all trades, master of none (no pun intended)
Was going to just stick with the short odds lays, easy to just go with 1 strategy set on the bot for 15 mins in the morning, go to work, and check for 10 mins at night. Many folk are speaking highly of BFBM, seems to allow more functionality than fairbot. So my questions are
Is the entry time 10 sec before the actual start or official start for Short odds lays. If its actual, how does the bot know that (I cant seem to work out how fairbot could do this, how does BFBM?)
Does the version everyone use match the bot on here of have significant personal changes been made (not trying to pinch others hard yards but wouldnt want to dive in knowing the success others are having is down to their bot being significantly different to mine).
Any advice appreciated, i have a bot on fairbot for the short odds lays i can use. However im wondering if a switch to BFBM would keep me in line with others regularly doing that strategy, so i can bounce any issues and fine tune settings so my results should largely compare.
I guess confidence is key and ive pretty much lost mine right now.

@greg-mitchell @John-Folan
I don't think it does, I'm sure Adam posted a google sheet somewhere on here that does all the separating for you once you load the data into it -
@john-folan Ok ta. I will do a test today..

@john-folan Do you know if when importing tips, you can have more than one tipster in the same row, provided they are separated by a comma or does it need to be two separate rows. For example if I download the daily selections from the horse racing software, sometimes one horse will be matched to more than one strategy and want to put both into BFBM?
I haven’t tried tbh. I usually just duplicate the horse and put one strategy name in one row and one on the other.
Also if you don’t want all horse markets if you make sure your strategy has MarketId in the market Id column it will auto import that market into bfbm as well.

@john-folan Thank You, I had tried that but it didn't seem quite what I wanted. I need to make sure that the price at 2 mins was 4 ticks less than its 4 minute mark, when I first set this up, it could of drifted 4 mins to 2 1/2 mins and then come in 4 ticks and it would of been classed as a steamer, which is not what I wanted.
I do however think I have solved it, I have set the strategy price recording time to start at 4 mins and finish at 3 mins and 58 seconds, it should therefore record my starting point correctly. It will then only class any selection as a steamer at 2 mins if the price at 2 mins is 4 ticks less than the record price. Does that sound the right logic to you?
Yes. Don't forget to make sure the condition says use the recorded data rather than the steamer drifting one

@john-folan Thank you, I can't seem to find the right settings. Have it set up ok in Bet Angel but looking at moving to BFBM as I love the bank options.
There’s a lot more filtering in Bfbot as well. I prefer it despite the fact it’s a little slower.
Found it in the manual. You can do % or ticks. This is the rule you want under selection conditions

Only me again. Is it possible to set the price checking as follows:
Check Price at 3 mins before off is X ticks less or more than it was at 4 mins
Check Price at 2 mins before off is X ticks less or more than it was at 3 minsI only seem to see the option to check the maximum and minimum tick movement from when you start recording prices, and in some cases within that 2 minutes it can both drift and steam by 4 ticks?
Pretty sure there is. I did something with percentage drops a while back. Positive it does ticks as well. I’ll look later/tomorrow morning.
Pretty sure it’s the streamers drifters rule in selection conditions

Would this look right as a csv file to import into Bfbotmanager?
That should work randomly

@john-folan Nothing set in the country filter, strangely, it just started working after 09:30, perhaps there is a time restriction somewhere?
That will be in the time to bet rules under market conditions

@john-folan Thank you, all sorted. I am running a scalping test bot on greyhounds, I have set it to Events - Greyhound Racing, it worked great yesterday on GB races, but it is not firing on the Australian markets, is there a reason for this do you know?

Can someone please guide me on the relevant settings for this on BFBM please:
I currently use Bet Angel and have a strategy which places a back bet and at the same time (using Bet Angel terminology) places and offset bet with greening at 4 ticks. What is the equivalent setting on BFBM for the offset bit?
After bet rules tab should have what you are looking for
