hahahaha brilliant. Think of the trade deal we would get lol. Plus all europeans would have to call us all Sir or Madam. And a UK team would have to win the Europa and Champions League every year.

Plus free holidays in Europe for all UK citizens in Europe forever.

They should put me in charge of negotiating.

I think it's a joke. It's not about keeping people safe it's about getting headlines. I remember that. Poor bloke was and probably still is in a right state about something that wasn't his fault and he has the press trashing him to contend with too.
