After putting on way too much weight over Christmas to the point where even fat trousers are feeling a little snug I decided it was way past time to do something about it. Last few years i had been on and off following Joe Wick's stuff on youtube as it's just convenient. He pushes you hard but you don't feel like you're totally dieing in the process.
Well this time I felt I needed a little extra push so went back to Shawn T and Focus T25. After a couple of weeks of absolutely hating every minute I think i've decided I'm too old for his cheerful demeanor and all out assault on my body these days.
I did it for like a year and half mostly on, sometimes off, around 3-4 times a week (sometimes even 5) around 4-5 years ago and I managed it quite easily.
Now I'm practically doubled up trying to do leg pulses in a low squat position haha! Ah my legs, my back ffs haha!!
Anyone else ever submit themselves to the kind of torture only he can inflict?
Mate if you want torture I know a lovely lady who will ‘whip’ you into shape
Nah you're alright haha!

"take two teaspoonful of Manuka honey daily(Seems counter productive but this stuff is awesome). This will settle a lot of stomach and digestive problems with its anti inflammatory properties. "
I take Antibiotics everyday, which attack good & bad bacteria in the stomach, I've been using pro-biotic drinks to combat the loss of good bacteria, I might add some Manuka honey to the mix now. Thanks for the tip.
It’s expensive. Wilds cape is good. It’s on Amazon.

I used to be able to eat or drink anything. I never put on weight. In fact I was usually underweight. Now, I no longer play football or tennis. I have a desk job and rarely exercise. I can't take a glass of red wine without reaching for the Gaviscon!! F**k old age!!

Totally Random!
Did you know that the recommended daily intake of sugar is 6 teaspoons or less? Sugar is in everything. I omitted sugar from my diet about 5 years ago. It was so difficult. My sugar intake now is worse than it was years ago. Anyway, the average middle aged human takes around 20 teaspoons per day. The frightening figure is that young adults are consuming are 40 teaspoons of sugar per day!!
I’ve made a conscious effort to boot as much sugar as possible from my diet after completely f*****g up my digestive system. Dropped a stone and a half and everything back to normal. I also take two teaspoonful of Manuka honey daily(Seems counter productive but this stuff is awesome). This will settle a lot of stomach and digestive problems with its anti inflammatory properties. I use the High UMF 15+. Sugar is in everything as they’ve taken all the fat out so food tastes like s**t now so they had to do something.
