@stuart-capstick yeah I know. Seen both the good the bad and the plain.mad all non on twitter haha!
One things for sure, the size of someone's wallet has meant a little less when everyone is holed up indoors. Ok some people have nicer houses or hotels but at the end of the day they're still stuck inside inside asking for tv recommendations haha!
You see the video Cesc posted? Funny as haha!

This situation will bring out the extremes. Guy round my way, forced to work from home has been posting notes through doors with his name, address, number, photo, offering to shop, collect prescriptions, even just chat with people who are ill or forced into isolation.
You'll see that writ large over the country. Unfortunately, you also see more venal behaviour as well. -
@stuart-capstick good. A coach on my sons football team signed off with after they were forced to close down. I didn't bother replying.
Then you have those f*****g dicks in Benidorm!

There is a certain dark comedy in watching wobbly, middled age men who've spent the last four years blabbering on about "Dunkirk spirit", surviving the Blitz, clearing stores of bog roll two days into a pandemic.
To be fair, watching the press conference, the Chancellor showed a good deal more leadership than the PM, who seemed happy just to field any questions to the guys either side of him.
Yeah but I hate this kind of rhetoric, we're British, we'll be fine. As if that makes the slightest bit of difference.
I think the whole British exceptionalism nonsense has taken more of a pounding than the FTSE over the last few days.

@charles-cartwright what's interesting is that life is carrying on where I live in the North West pretty much as normal. the idea of containment has long passed may as well crack on with it now.
Well it's gone to s**t here in the so called Land of the Brave. Everywhere is shutting down, one of our finance people couldn't even get the bank to accept checks for deposit today for fear they were contaminated, and in general the whole bloody country is in meltdown.
That is mad. It’s chaos where I live. Been out in the cab seeing as the trading is struggling at the mo(glad I kept my plates now). That’s been a complete waste of time. No one is going into London to work so I reckon I took about a third of what I normally would doing runs into the station in the morning. People stripping shelves and generally losing it.
I've not been out since fri but everywhere is shutting down here too. Shelves apparently empty, delivery slots weeks away, people wearing masks. Even my mate said he was looking online at masks earlier.
Pretty much entire house apart from my son has symptoms.
In laws getting ready to hibernate for 3 months.

I don't subscribe to Sky sports. What are they showing at the moment & is there any truth in the rumour that Sky SportsF1 is to be renamed to Sky SportsDominoes?
National Solitaire Championship?

Italy figures again are horrendous. Over 3,500 new cases and nearly 350 deaths in 24 hours.
Italy typically has a significantly higher impact of seasonal flu than most other western European countries. They have a much older population in general, the overall health of their elderly population is relatively fragile, and their infrastructure is not great with respect to delivery of healthcare or in adherence to public health advice (significantly higher rate of smoking than in most of Western Europe for instance).
It is not surprising, therefore, that they would see a more significant impact from coronavirus than in other countries (a fact largely ignored in the hysteria).
They see about 5-6 million cases of influenza-like-illness on average in a winter season in Italy with about 10-12,000 deaths. This is a significantly higher rate per capita than the UK and about 4-5 x higher than that seen in the US.
There is no data to support the idea that Italy is somehow a 'portent' of what will occur elsewhere in Europe but that hasn't stopped the talking heads from banging on about it.

Can't believe you called me doomsday! At this rate it'll be more of a surprise when the number is less than 350

Is it worth getting Casino offers going? Keep a bit of money going round while we wait out this clusterfuck?
Some decent bingo offers to be milked.
I’m all for milking gambling sites. It’s how I got my bank together

Not something you can start with only a very small bank
Plus you have to be super careful.
Maybe post the blackjack guide you said you use?
