@richard-latimer love these tweets, in my eyes the guy is a legend. Incredible manager, did an unbelievable job for a long time in such a changing environment recently as well.
Very tough in my opinion to rebuild teams over periods, could see it over the last couple of years - takes years to build a team they way he did and Fergie, solid spine and integrate new players in - will be missed brought some incredible moments to this league!

It needed to happen but still genuinely sad for the end of a looooooong era! Vast majority of commments I'm reading are nothing but positive towards him. Only a few mugs just saying thank god! Now I can get my Arsenal back etc....
Really good tribute by Henry Winter on his twitter feed.

David Dein invited 9 of us correspondents into Highbury board-room to meet #Wenger in 96. Arsene spoke for 50 mins, and we were spellbound by his attacking philosophy, belief in nutrition (broccoli!) & obsession with #afc as a community club. A visionary had arrived. 1/1099 replies 2,837 retweets 4,664 likes

I remember talking to Sol Campbell in Colney canteen & he demonstrated how Wenger insisted if players were to drink tea or coffee (milk bad), and if you had to have sugar, there was a Wenger-approved technique of stirring it in to make all the granules absorb. Interviewed Wenger once at Hornby’s school for kids with Autism. Wenger argued passionately that society had to appreciate these kids’ unique mind-set, their different intelligence, acute logic and work with computers tackling complex problems. Wenger always dealt with fans’ interest calmly and with a smile. Walking into the 2010 World Cup final in Soweto, he stopped maybe 60-70 times to accommodate autograph requests. Had to run the last bit to get to TV studio. Always a touch of class about Wenger. 4/102 replies 537 retweets 1,028 likes

Only saw Wenger truly well refreshed once, night before a World Cup final, when he encountered 4-5 English journalists in a restaurant well after midnight. “Ah, les Ros-bifs!” he began, and chatted away. Great company. Talks about anything sport to politics. Wry humour too. 5/102 replies 447 retweets 866 likes

Truly obsessed with football. On his 60th birthday, we urged him after press conf at Colney to have a night off from watching football, go see a show in the West End etc. He wanted to watch a Bundesliga game but promised to put candles on top of the TV to mark his birthday. 6/103 replies 604 retweets 1,124 likes

Compassionate man. Arsenal have a link-up with a community affected by Chernobyl & Wenger sends messages/shirts. One Ukrainian girl affected by the fall-out asked to be buried in an Arsenal track top that Wenger & Club had sent because “they were the only ones who cared”. 7/109 replies 825 retweets 1,455 likes

Two days before start of this season, Wenger dropped everything to attend an FWA event raising funds for survivors of Grenfell. Spoke passionately about society’s need to protect people better. Did great Q&A. A few WengerOuts in the room and he charmed them with his dignity. 8/104 replies 744 retweets 1,309 likes

I spoke to a 25-year-old Arsenal supporter whose parents had separated when he was very young. He said he’d never met Wenger but would always be grateful to Wenger because he was the only stable male figure in his life. Wenger was a constant. 9/1038 replies 912 retweets 1,928 likes

For a decade, Wenger’s football was glorious, innovative & attacking, and the Invincibles are legends. He let it drift, got overtaken, and surrounded himself with people who didn’t question him enough. Wenger right to go now and he deserves a statue outside the Emirates. 10/10 -

@keith-anderson thats a tricky one, I took the plunge a long time ago and I've never really stopped.
Trading has always been able to provide for my lifestyle, at the age I started and the qualification I had it would of perhaps taken me forever to get near the money I was making from trading.
From there it's allowed me to diversify into other investments as well

@keith-anderson for me it was making enough to live on, the benefits of working from home for me far outweighed any salary comparisons. I just needed enough to live on plus a little spare for saving/holidays.
I make a living out of it but I still don’t think of myself as ‘pro’. Not sure why but probably because I still can’t believe this works!!
-
@keith-anderson @Richard-Futter left a very good job (local television sports presenter) to do this so he is a great example of leaving a good job, he didn't enjoy that job anymore and wanted the lifestyle associated with trading.
-
Serious question to @John-Folan @Ryan-Carruthers & @Martin-Futter
How do you know when you're a full-time professional trader? Is it when trading is you only / main job? Is it when you make more money through trading than your current job? Or is it something else?
