Well, assuming we can continue to be negative here as this isn't the positivity thread haha!!
Still not sure why Boris Johnson refuses to close the pubs etc but tells everyone not to go. Really throwing everyone under the bus.
Also......who else would have loved one of the reporters to ask him why he couldn't keep his dad out of pub? Does his dad not care about potentially infecting people haha!??

@neil-mallett Have a good one matey!

We're off to have a walk on the beach. It might be the last chance for a while. It's raining but I've been at before. Have a good day everyone.

Baldurs Gate
I might have to do this! Not a clue what I am going to do on it but will give it a go, can't be that hard to learn!
It’s the best D and D computer game ever.

I’ve just bought Baldurs Gate on the iPad.
We need some entertainment while all this keeps going as a community though. Trying to be positive about it all.

You'll need to rename this place. The DDC.

@neil-mallett Have to be matey It's what the world needs, watch the news its all doom and gloom we can be a safe haven!!
Plus we have some of the best traders I have ever seen / worked with so we come out of the traps after like a bat out of hell!
-
@ryan-carruthers Yes, I've noticed BTC have been very positive. Nicely done & keep it up. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
-
@neil-mallett Yes you are correct, good luck finding a trade as well but I think its a great opportunity right now....
People always put off learning a new skill because of the time it takes and also usually the thing itself distracts you.... now the thing itself isn't there! So get learning
We shall have the course out this week then have some LIVE sessions where we chat through it all together.

Chinese were first in, looks like they're pretty confident on being first out.

We need to see much more positivity from our inglorious leader. Less emphasis on how many are going to die and much more emphasis on how doing the right things will see us through this crap quickly.
Both the government & the media are scaring the s**t out of the population at the moment & as for bulldog spirit, I think the bulldog is an endagered species. All my worst fears about the British population are being confirmed at the moment. I've often said that if the current young generation was around in the early 40's WWII would've been a loss from day 1. It's not just the young though, it seems that around half the population are 100% selfish right now. I mean, how the F LI C K does having a room full of bog roll help anyone? My mum, 80 years old, can't buy anything she wants, by the time she can get to Tesco, the shelves have been stripped.
I'm OK, I could & will cope for months given the chance. I'm permanantly sick anyway. (It's me lungs) I still go to the shops but I wouldn't dream of over-buying anything. Getting extra for the elderly neighbours is fine, taking the whole family to buy the maximum each can buy isn't OK. As someone recently said, how does owning all the tissues stop the virus spreading?
We could do with a Churchill at the moment but all we have is a Johnson but he isn't responsible for the nation becoming selfish, he is a product of an already selfish nation. I think it's up to us all to change this in an way we can. Visit or call your elderly neigbours, stop filming empty shelves and film your normal shop instead, depending on how brave you are, perhaps call out those selfish shoppers or ask them why they are doing it.
We can all help but it does need to start at the top.
Have a good day & good luck finding a trade.

@john-folan right, who gave the empire all this power haha?? Come on, spill the beans...
Look at the laws passed yesterday. Gives them the rights to shut absolutely everything down. One of my closest friends next door neighbour is an army Captain. He’s been mobilised. There’s a couple of things doing the rounds that say the same thing.

Massive rumour everywhere that there is going to be a UK lockdown on Thursday. Apparently.
Just read the coronavirus bill. Seems to be coming into place at the weekend for a period of 2 years.
Boris will declare himself Emperor and dissolve the senate. I mean Parliament. His Enforcer Darth Raab will hunt down and destroy any Remainers still alive in a great purge.
Sounds familiar. Can’t think why?
