@dave-jessop I cannot get over how they came to that decision, was clear just watching it on tele.

Cos the poor blokes leg was hanging off and everyone was in a state I guess. I had that happen to me when I was 21. Its not nice looking down and seeing your lower leg at a right angle. Cost England their best ever winger that did 😉

@ryan-carruthers Good photo ops indeed. We are Lincolnshire based with members all over the county, all ages too. We still have a weekend away every summer, although photography isn't the main theme these days, usually we just sit around a camp fire eating, drinking & chatting. This summer we went red squirrel hunting in Yorkshire.

@ryan-carruthers check out their website, they have 4 rooms, all of them look interesting. I don't get to Lincoln much these days, sometimes go when there's an event on or for a meal. I used to go at least once a month to meet up with a photography group I'm in but I stopped using Facebook so I never know when the meeting is.
Other than that, I don't really have a reason to go any more.
Right, it's nearly midnight, off for some drum practice.

@richard-latimer that looks like a cracker. I don't know anyone who would do that with me though. There's no way my missus would even consider it. She actually screamed in the cabin when the game master gave us a hand (literally) through the window. I love a bit of gore, just finished watching tonights walking dead. :woman_zombie:

No my missus wouldn't touch it either. Loves horror but doesn't want to be part of it haha!

@neil-mallett that sounds bloody good that! I know the one, I’ll have to get it booked.

Yes that sounds a good idea that indeed. Do you get over to Lincoln much?

@ryan-carruthers I'm from Lincoln but I don't consider it my town anymore. It is so different now, I barely recognise it.
We went to Deliverance on Clasketgate. We did the cabin in the woods. You get a back story, you're back packing in the States, you get lost but stumble upon a cabin (in the woods). First you have to get in, then you have to get out. Good puzzles, some real face Palm, how could I miss that moments. Most of all it was just good fun.
Perhaps we should have BTC meetups and do things like this the retire to a public house for refreshments and chat.

No trading or betting for me yesterday ( Sunday ) went out with a few of the family to try an escape room in Lincoln. If you've ever thought about trying one, I can recommend it. We all found it really good fun and your mind is working at a constant high rate trying to figure out what means something & what doesn't. More than once we picked up an object, examined it, ignored it, only to find out it was in fact key to solving the next puzzle.
We've talked about physical health in this forum before, I think giving your brain a workout is just as important. It was only an hour but the buzz lasted the rest of the day. Use it or lose it as the saying goes.

On the way home I stopped of and bought a drum kit from someone who's moving home & won't have the room for it & it was a bargain. That's for my physical well being. That's my story & I'm sticking to it. 🥁 🎵

Never tried an escape room but always fancied it ever since I heard about them. Bought my brother and sister a game for a horror one in Bristol where you've been kidnapped hostel style by a serial killer haha!

@neil-mallett Which one did you try? Lincoln is my city! I am currently sat there now!

Love this post, the down time / family time is so crucial and if you can blend that with using your brain then even better, especially as the world moves towards a more automated - amazon prime world!

Yep, Son gets the blame but could see quickly that it was a shocker from Aurier.

VAR is a joke lol messed up again this weekend lol did the premier league not speak with other sports to get the issues ironed out?

Yup - bad one - feel sorry for Son

Aurier has always been a bit dangerous - silly to Serge in like that 😛

That was poor. Even for you.
