    @matt-wood you mean the chicken brown rice and broccoli? Iโ€™ve heard when you cook all 3 together at the right temperature itโ€™s got special powers.

    Past 880'000kg total lifted on working sets for the year today. This now means that I have lifted the Cutty Sark ๐Ÿ™‚

    It also seems I have lifted myself 11'007 times! (based on ave bodyweight)

    @matt-wood very true!

    Been keeping me eye on eBay for those people who bought stuff during lockdown and now going back to the gym.

    Anyone interested in health and diets might like the Youtuber:

    Kinda science heavy at times. But also does some really interesting podcast style interviews with people in various fields of expertise.

    Has not been posted yet but fans of mma might like it, he has just done a podcast with Rich Franklin. I will be watching this as soon as its uploaded. Im a big fan of Mr Franklin and think he was in UFC at the time it changed from styles to true mixxed martial arts. People like Rich were the ones who truly led the way (with maybe and argument to be made for Frank Shamrock) in cross training styles.

    @ryan You would probably pick some amazing deals now since lockdowns have ended. Best time to do it if you are going to.

    @matt-wood I know him so I will just tell him to shut up if he says anything ahahaha! Although I am thinking of kitting myself out at home at the moment, some cracking stuff kicking about. Bench, power cage and some dumbbells pretty set!

    I do love a shake shack though! I was going to say the other American burger chain that is white and red - but thought Folan would pick up on that and it would get outta hand.

    @ryan Yea Ive used some of that kit, really rough on the hands, especially if its a brand new bar too! Liquid chalk is your friend there, fills in all the grooves ๐Ÿ˜† Gym owner wont thank you for it though ๐Ÿ™‚

    Yea I was shocked at that too! in just one week and only the burgers eaten out, not counting anything eaten at home for bbqs etc.

    @matt-wood Ahahaha yes the old meat hooks!

    I remember I joined a new hybrid gym they called it with all the primal strength (the brand) kit was amazing but my god the bars were killer on the hands, it was like sandpaper.

    That is the amount of burgers eaten, Jesus!!!

    @matt-wood WOW top work matey

    Cheers ๐Ÿ™‚ Came about when I found out the weight (in kilos) of the average amount of burgers eaten out in the UK in a week, 1'250'960!!
    Wondered if I could lift that, I might still get there.

    Niggle injuries are starting to pile up now though as I have been slowly dropping weight since April too. Hands are the worst so just strapping my hands to the weights/machines and treating them as meat hooks lol ๐Ÿ™‚

    All good fun though.

    Started a rough goal on Jan 1st this year.

    Counting WORKING SETS only, no warm ups or work up sets, I wanted to see if I could lift a total of 1'000'000kg.

    Just crossed the 800'000 mark, so fingers crossed, injuries willing I should get there ๐Ÿ™‚

    Just got off the phone with one of my colleagues who's based up north. He told me he signed up to his local gym which you can order beer and burgers at. I don't know what your gyms are like up there, but I'm starting to question some of the fitness advice on this forum ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Haha well if you scroll back to the beginning I opened this with a post about an eating contest I did with my good lady's brother, he thought he could out eat me. For the record he managed 2 big macs, 2 1/4 pounders and 2 hot aple pies.
    Still beer and burgers on order in a gym... sounds good to me, what could possibly go wrong ๐Ÿ™‚
