First Matchup:
Fazeclan v OG
The expert opinion:
The extreme novice opinion:
From what I can see OG were the team less was expected of and they have actually exceeded peoples expectations rather than Faze who apparently have some of the best players in the world and no real bad players. From what I can gather they've had some good maps but pretty much failed at all the critical points. Lead 12-3 over Navi yesterday and losing 16-4 being just one.
Seems a logical choice.
I will lay Faze and hope to get out after the first map assuming there is still point in doing so. If it's really tight at the end of the first map and looks like it could go either way I'll probably try and green there and then.
Oh yeah and apparently both teams playing for no more than pride and a little bit of cash!

@richard-latimer Seen a couple, but want to see more before I get stuck into trends
There's 3 today all at the same time. Not sure which will be shown. Will really interested to see your thoughts on angles and trends when you've watched quite a few.
17:25 today

Haha....it's tough with all this time. Thought you'd been watching already?

@kötcsei-istván Exactly why I am just sat watching it, sometimes its the easiest thing to do... see what the market does - look at what's happened in the event to see what caused it.
Then does it follow the same pattern again and again.
You making sense out of all the sudden odds movement yet? I'm wondering wondering no if it's when they mention what map has been chosen because some are experts on certain maps. Can't make sense of a team winning a round but odds drifting suddenly at the same time though.

That was the same story for me . I layed and got out too early.
I had the same experience with liquiditiy, and sometimes the market swinged when it shouldnt and vice versa. I thought someone can watch the stream in a non delayed version, or theres a bigger delay than in real sports.
-
@richard-latimer I am getting to grips with it, what I have been doing is watching the event and then checking the market at the same time - literally just watching at present

It won't get things back today but hopefully can make a nice start. Laying Astralis from the off in 21:00 game. Odds are 1.28-1.30.

I took the lay @ 1.28. I'm not scalping. I'm waiting. Will get out after the first map. Simple. Win or lose.
I'm going to start getting in these from the off if odds good enough. Simply don't have the stats to know which teams make slow starts and which don't.
Keep missing prices and as a result either attempting to scalp or taking a completely contrary position. You think the scalp is good the team your on win the next round. However for some reason the price plummets and you lose what little you've managed to scalp so starting from scratch.
That said liability so low here that it's pretty much all gone already. May as well leave it in if the first map is lost.

Weird to see players being interviewed pre-match. Sitting at home in a comfy chair ready to go haha!
In any case, with no other sport on the menu I'm persevering here.
Plenty of big tournaments through the year:

I've been well and truly done on this today but it's my own fault. Not following the plan at all. Price goes and lay the opposite way for some reason. Current game has gone mental. Couldn't have been predicted. But I layed the wrong team a map down thinking their would be a comeback.
The score just got worse until I gave up, redded out, only to come back and find the mother of all comebacks from 1.10 ish (it was 1.02 for ages before it very briefly went up to 1.10-1.15. I just got out as prices don't hang around long and Faze were winning 2nd map 12-3 (first to 16). God knows what happened as it's 1-1 in maps now.
-
This is done. Low liability. What did I say about leaving the 2nd map alone haha!!
Ok Faze is at 17:00. I'm going to back them but I'm going to wait until the best price. ie when I see a shed load of money go down. Had I waited and layed Mouseports @ 1.36 I could have greened nicely.

@richard-latimer I'm having a good watch of it today
It's amazing how much the price moves with nothing happening. Halfway through the map and it's bouncing all over the place. I'm trying to watch for when the big money comes in as well for entry and exit points.
-

I layed Mousesports @ 1.59. Should have been lower. Could have been in and out so often. Blinked too quickly. took break even and then price shoots out haha!

Last big one in Counter Strike @ 21:00
Astralis vs OG
OG big underdogs but been holding their own. Astralis underwhelming. Could well go to a third map. I'll lay Astralis and see what happens.
Watch here:
