@richard-latimer And where are you getting your live scores please?

@richard-latimer Youtube live stream is 1 round behind. Twich is behind as well by 60 seconds.
Yeah but I got live scores and I've already figured out worst case scenario to play it to the halfway point. Too small red at the halfway point on first map. Laid Fnatic again after first map win and rode it out until they took 2nd map. Cashed. If mousesports go behind again and odds go in sufficiently I may get back in.

I can't believe they don't even play with a joypad. Keyboard and mouse ffs!! That's crazy!
-
Next big match up soon. I'm hoping to get a better price on backing Mousesports.

yesterday i checked how the map pick goes in pro CS, cause i had the feeling i overfavoured the map picker team.
7 maps in the pool , home team removes 2, away pics a map. Away removes two, home pics a map, and the leftover map is
for 3rd map.Now ill rather go with which team has the momentum than who picked the map, (for the secound map the home team can choose from 2 maps, so basically you have to know all of the maps well). Whats your opinion on this ?
Seems like you've got a better grip on it than me haha!! I think just listening to the pundits/commentators talk about about who needs to make their map pick work, what their record is on said map etc could be good information to take note of.

Last game didn't go according to plan but that said I lost a minimal amount due to a good plan and a small but ultimately doomed fightback.
So I laid Evil Geniuses @ 1.67 against Furia as it was expected to be a 3 map game and they were the favourites. They started off poorly and it looked like I was going to make some green on the first map but then a comeback meant the odds soon came back in. Halfway through the map it was 9-8 to Furia so I took the smallest green ever and left. A good move as Evil Geniuses took the p**s after that and the price would have just collapsed.
2nd map I laid the Evil Geniuses again, this time @ 1.26. They then went on a tare and took the first 9 rounds so that there was almost nothing left of the 1.26. No point trading out halfway through when is was 12-3 as the amount I could save was negligible.
Furia won the first 5 rounds allowing me to save half of the liability. I actually traded out after 4 rounds in the end I think but money didn't go much beyond where I got out and in monetary terms it was again negligible.
If I can think of anything I would have done differently it's the 2nd map lay. It was Evil Geniuses map pick so you'd expect them to be fired up for it. That angle could potentially work for ruling out first map picks too.

So the betfair live stream is way behind the action?
I dont understand the way the odds move anyway, but trying to work it out when the live stream is way behind is just a disaster waiting to happen, I'm out!Betfair live stream never works. You can either find a stream on youtube if you google the team plus score or you can watch it on twitch.
Football is the same. It's just not as important most of the time. That said you can still make sure you get in or out at certain points as they have a break between each map and a smal break at the halfway point of each map.

Not posting on these at the moment but I've realised the live stream is 2 or 3 minutes behind which in Counter Strike can be 2 rounds. Massive. I'm watching the market, the stream and the most up to date live score to ensure things don't run away from me anymore.
I'm not trading anything I can't watch and I'm waiting for it to go inplay if I'm unsure whether liquidity will be there.
Astralis was tipped for 3 maps. Just laid Astralis on first map. They were having a mare so I took red at the halfway point. They got it back but still lost a close map and my red was small. I then laid Mousesports fully prepared to get out at the halfway point if it didn't look good or if the map was tight. As it was Astralis got to the halfway point 11-4 up and the price I laid for 1.84 had gone up to around 2.7-2.8. I made the decision to keep monitoring.
If the price hit 2.5 again I would take small green and move on otherwise I would stay in until the end of the map. I kept monitoring the stream, more up to date score and odds. As it happened they only lost 1 more round and the map finished 16-5 so I was able to take quite a nice green in the end which when put again the red meant smallish green overall.

Well it looks like no big matchups today anyway so time to assess and concentrate on Belarus Reserve League
-
@richard-latimer I actually left it, I watched along side and was on £2 stake just to see wanted some exposure to the market and wanted to see what was happening, I'm not sure I will continue with these ones as I'm not that much of a fan of it
-
That didn't go so well. Onwards and upwards

@richard-latimer I have also laid Faze!
Not helped by them all going off together. Are they all live somewhere?

Third Matchup:
Astralis v Mousesport
The Expert Opinion:
The Extreme Novice Interpretation:
Two very good teams have both performed very well although Astralis apparently started slowly with 2 poor results initially. Mousports lost yesterday and before that had been pretty emphatic.
A tight game is expected and therefore a 3rd map. I'll lay the favourite and go from there.
-
Second Matchup:
Navi v Fnatic
The expert opinion:
The extreme novice opinion/more interpretation of the expert one:
Apparently Navi the best team in the world on this game. Had been plaing a bit poorly. Their recent comeback against Faze from 12-3 down to win 16-4 has probably done them a world of good. Should see them kick on. Fnatic had a very good tournament with great performances. Can mix it with the best but they've probably had their time in the sun for now.
I'll be getting on Navi but it's whether I wait for a better price than the 1.8 on offer or take what I can now. Again I'll be hoping to get out by the 2nd map or if first map looking like it could ge either way towards the end.
