Yep that wouldn't be a bad shout, I am 100% of the belief that players don't want to miss it, especially those 30+ as it might be their last.
It's really affecting things.
of course the flip side of this equation is that there are some players playiong better as they are on the cusp of selection. Ive never seen a downturn as bad as this and ther only viarance i can give is the WC as we have never had a winter one before

i am the same tbf i was on man utd psg and ipswich this weekend some of this misses where mental.It will switch at some point where get some dier games and win of a massive deflection or something but i am thinking maybe stop atm to world cup seems strange atm
Arsenal game yesterday finished 1-0, could've/should've been 3-3ish.
Have the goal posts been made smaller

@nick-segura Yeh I agree, this would be great to hear how the pros handle bad runs.
One thing I find difficult is assessing whether my strategies are just suffering a bad hit of variance and therefore not to panic and make significant changes or alternatively when to realise my strategies need to be tweaked or worse still thrown out altogether.

@ryan You know what, It would be interesting to hear about how you analyse downturns. Maybe you could share a specific example and talk through your analyses and conclusions. A lot of people have talked about their strategies struggling recently. Is it just a case of remaining consistent and trusting the strategy/process or should something change?

@mr-emmet-moorehouse yea variance is always there, it's something I am cautious of always it doesn't always be as big as this and across many leagues.

Is it unusual for there to be such a downturn? Shouldn't there be bad weeks or even bad months in an overall profitable strategy?

I've stopped them at the moment as I might have a slight tweak to them, they've not been doing as well as they used too.
There's been a lot of data in play with them I am working through, the shots, corners and everything is there - just the main thing... goals is not.

@james-rome been ave weekend for me Friday +4, sat -8, today +3 at the moment but have 3 trades open . could be scarcth, hoping for a small profit
some great strartegies who i can always count on have been poor, either no goals for hot stats or buckets full for cold
u3.5 went from 5+ to -1 over the weekend
