@gary-brown did you get on it? I was waiting for Home fav odds to go up a bit so missed out
-
@alan-steward good luck with the step to taking this full time, must make all the hard work you have put in worthwhile.
Itβs an inspiration for me for sure although not sure i want to do this for a living, would certainly like a steady second income in time
-
going to monitor the game but if I feel a home fav goal is coming before half time I will back the home favs.
-
roskilde with an early goal :S

Not 40% increase in bank per day then haha!
That would just a little bit extreme, LOL
But fantastic
End up like Biff in Back To The Future haha!
Just as long as there is no McFly to ruin it

@matt-wood Hi Matt - just looking at your spreadsheet... Isn't there something wrong with the yearly profits or do you not expect to bet and profit 40% on average every day of the year? The yearly profits seem to be too low.
A 40% increase every day. That would be quite something haha!
Yeah, I should probably have used the term 0.4 pts instead as that is what it means. 40%, as in 40% ROI, is a bit optimistic
0.4 pts on average per day, or 12 points per month, is not unrealistic on the other hand.
Not 40% increase in bank per day then haha!

@richard-latimer LOL

@alan-steward Dogging haha!! Thanks. Wrong type of forum I feel haha!

@alan-steward Well good luck with it all mate I'm sure you've done enough ground work to know it'll work out. I hit the not so big 40 last year and if I'm debt & mortgage free and earning from doing this by the time I'm 59 I'll be a happy man. Fair play to you mate
-
@ben-dobie Hi mate and thanks for your kind words... With my journey I'm now with the final piece of the jigsaw... Just about there my good man but fingers crossed it stays that way.
I've just had a PM conversation with somebody and I mentioned to him that I am in a very fortunate situation whereas I don't need to earn massive amounts as I've zero mortgage & zero debt... The only downside to that is I hit the big 60 next year lol
-
@john-hurst Excellent stuff... Setting realistic targets is great but over stretching them could lead to disappointment... If I can give any advice to anyone it's measure, measure & measure then we can manage and make informed decisions.
I download my filters daily and then update all results daily... I hate updating the results it's such a chore lol... But;
I've taken data from 3 so so performing FHG filters where I was going in at 1.51 for 1pt to give 0.5pts green and on rechecking the results found it could be possible to 4 fold it's profitability by using split stakes... 25% on 45secs (i.e. kick off), 25% on 15mins, 25% on 25mins & 25% on 35mins.
Now the 25% on kick off doesn't return much... But! it does catch all the early goals and 10 of these could neutralise a loss... The late goals after 35mins, well, that's an eye opener... This can return evens and whilst there may not be many winning 35min goals the return is well worth it.
I'm measuring the success of this during the course of this month... Fingers crossed
Word of Warning
This may not suit all filters but it did with 3 of the ones I've been measuring but it's results were worse!!! on another

@john-hurst Its not out of the realms of possibility mate

Good morning all, was keeping myself a bit distant over the weekend as I was busy preparing myself for my final step to full time trading... Had an excellent past few days with my correct score trading and made almost 3pts green from just 4 games (although I don't lose out on many they don't always go that well lol).
What I'm now doing is only looking to trade the bigger games where I know I can get away with using Β£250/500 a point... My correct score trades rarely ever exceed 1pt liability (although last nights 3 goal dutch @ Napoli did go to 1.5pts red @ 1-1 but was good value in my mind).
I will try to get my blog sorted this month asap but have just focused on setting up a VPS service which will allow me to continue my low value bot trades which profit month in month out without having to leave my computer running all day (burning out in the summer months lol)
Catch you all later... Hopefully with good team news I will be on a 3 goal correct score trade at Spurs tonight.
@Alan-Steward congratulations on getting to this point Alan, it must be an amazing feeling knowing that you can earn a good wage from doing something you actually enjoy. Well done, would love to be in your place one day and love hearing the success stories it's very motivating

@alan-steward have just set some targets for myself
