@richard-latimer Lol, of course it would... But remember every successful business plan needs targets... And setting targets gives us something to measure and "What we measure we can manage" πŸ‘

Keep up the excellent work with your dogging... I do keep an eye out for it even though I may not get involved πŸ˜‰

I feel like you perhaps could have problems placing stakes at Β£346,653,511,755,546 per bet in that year, so you may want to stop compounding a bit before πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚

@ryan-carruthers It's an expensive holiday though. This is what Matt would get if he just did it everyday:

    That's a decent profit by year 6 😁

Haha what can I say...who wouldn't want a private beach in Barbados with endless cocktails πŸ˜‰

@finn-kristensen It is, but trust me its well worth it.

I've been at this a loooong old while and holidays are the best. They give you the break from trading to reset the mind, see new places, drink, see family πŸ˜„

Ahhhh sorry I should also have mention it assumes a 5 day trading week and 48 wks a year. We all need a holiday after all πŸ˜‰

ah, OK - that explains it.

@finn-kristensen I think its correct, will check it now though just in case. The profit is based on and average of 80p per day in year 1. It is then scaled up from there assuming you put all of your profit back into your bank.

It does not of course take into account volume of trades on a daily basis.

@matt-wood Hi Matt - just looking at your spreadsheet... Isn't there something wrong with the yearly profits or do you not expect to bet and profit 40% on average every day of the year? The yearly profits seem to be too low.

A 40% increase every day. That would be quite something haha!

@alan-steward @James-Woodroffe I am only just starting out and use very small stakes but agree 100% with both of you. Plus like you both said the profits WILL come in time if you master things. Here is a little shot from a spreadsheet I did for myself assuming min stakes and a year 1 daily profit of just 80p (average). Then scale it from there, the results are quite incredible.

@matt-wood as @Ryan-Carruthers says, taking a small return each month doesn't hurt... I currently draw down expenses such as BTC membership, Trading Software fees and now the VPS service... Then ultimately all being well a wage lol

@Matt-Wood this advice from Ryan is spot on and I’d advice the same. The justified treat so to speak.

@james-woodroffe And whilst not everybody will buy into that process, it's my opinion and that's how I've grown my trading over the past couple of years... Keep up your excellent growth as well, you look to be doing really well of late... You deserve it!

    Thanks Alan I appreciate it.

Watching 3 matches tonight for possible 2HG if 0-0 1-0 1-1 or 1-0 at HT

Vejle v Rosklide Denmark 1. I won’t lie I dunno how much attention I’ll pay to this match as it will clash with the β€œnight time routine” so will wait and see.

    Spurs v Everton
    Moreiense v Sporting.

Here’s to a green start to the week. 🍻

@ryan-carruthers Totally agree this was really just an exercise to see where it could go starting from very humble beginnings. For me personally I would probably start taking a % out from year 3 onward.
