@john-hurst probably best mate, I won't be trying it again any time soon. Prefer the 60 and then agian on 70 if still lively approach
-
@ben-dobie odd that, might just stick to lumping it then mate

@john-hurst its quite good if goals come at the right time....
Say it's 1-1 at HT and odds on O 3.5 are 2.00
You'd Back O 3.5 as follows splitting stake into 4
25% @ 2.00
25% @ 3.00
25% @ 4.00
25% @ 5.00
All 4 stakes usually matched by 70 ish
You cash out after a goal or take the loss on 80 minutes, it's very profitable if you get the goal between 70 & 79Gave this a go last night on Stabaek game with £ 10 split into 4 (odds exactly as above) goal came around 77 I think cashout was £5.23 ... not as good as I've seen on UFT vids where I'm sure he's cashed out £ 100 stake for about £70 around that time

@stuart-capstick @John-Hurst
Indeed! Good league to trade as well - standard is decent!
-
@ryan-carruthers sirius ticking all the boxes for a second half goal.

@ryan-carruthers
Agreed. Loads of nice games from Summer leagues.

Really not keen on Spain for H2 goals at the moment but have to believe there's a goal in the Sociedad v Madrid game. Laying under 0.5 @ 3.05 and 2.56.
I stand corrected. So far, they may be the biggest leagues and countries but Spain, Germany and Italy have been poor. And it's not just a new league thing as Spain started poor last season and has continued now where as Turkey is mainly pretty great and their league is new.

@john-hurst I haven't yet mate but have watched the live trades on UFT, a goal in that window (70 - 79) I think get's you about 70% of your stake in profit, I think if you take the loss on 80 you lose aboit 40% of your stake. I'm being quite strict with my strat at the minute of laying next overs @ 3.00 and then 2.24 if still lively which is around 60/65 & 70 but I'm gonna give the Fireball Reloaded a go at some point once the bank is at a point where I'm happy to experiment with small stakes on something new.
That should say you lose about 60% of your stake by taking the loss at 80

Afternoon all , been trying to take a different approach with trading recently. I have been trying to reduce the hours i have in front on the lap top at the weekend, like others have said you can make just as much trading less and not looking for trades that aren't on your filters.
I have been out most of the day got back half hour ago and got a few matches on my list now and for this evening, so if they meet the criteria i may trade. Then i will update my results on the spreadsheet Chris Kindly set up and hopefully i will see a more positive outcome in the next few months.I don’t blame you, I’ve done something similar myself. I’ve cut out the lesser leagues to trade and the stats show the results are as good, just with 25% less trades

Am wondering how to profit best from sh goals, i have been split staking at 1.51 and 2.02. Have a solid filter running at 90 ish % for at least 1 2h goal. Be nice to have a strategy that i could stick to. Was wondering whether to put full stake on at 1.51, that way i would only need 2/3 to win to break even. Does anyone have a method they use that is better than what has been mentioned? Tia
I have one that runs at 90 odd % currently and i tend to lay at 3.0 and then 2.0. Have a look at goal times and see if that sways your decision slightly

In for an SHG in Odd Stabaek

@james-everard Good luck mate, I've found that it's taken me a full year to become more disciplined and it's finally starting to pay off. I used to spend hours trading at weekends and now because I stick to my filter I spend very little time in front of my laptop.
Hopefully mate. I could spend most of my weekend trading as well ,and end down both mentality and financially.
Trying to keep a balance between trading and having a life , that way it will be so much more beneficial for my trading and my life in general. -

If you're getting 90% on 1.51 then I say just do that personally haha! Which leagues are you excluding for this? How many games in to a season before you start?

I've found certain score lines at HT to be much more profitable than others. For example, 0-0 has the lowest likelihood of SHG, while even 2-0 has a far higher probability.
It may be an idea to record roughly when the first SHG arrives and then get an idea of the odds (or record them). Then you really could maximise profit.It could be the leagues as I'm really not sure about Germany Bundesliga 2 for example but recently I've really struggled with 1-1.
